You missed immigration. I, for one, am grateful that half of the board's members live 3,000 miles away from me. :D

It's great to have her on the board, but I have to say that her sport is one I'd rather play than watch.

I'm open to persuasion (see sig.) but first you'll have to do something about the climate. :D

Interesting list, but why are the Pats number 10?

Is it descending or ascending? (Actually, I don't think it's supposed to be a ranking.) :)

What an amazing thing to say!

Would the fact that Boston and San Francisco in January have a mean temperature difference of 20 degrees Fahrenheit not make any difference?

Their first album kickes Arse, but it was downhill from there.

S.J. Perelman, S.J. Perelman....you Brits are bunch of smart arses. We Americans don't even know who he is anymore. We barely even know who his lovechild, Woody Allen, is either.

Actually, Box will know him, probably quite intimately as they probably drank from the same glass.

When my imagination comes to me I'll write a "Ten Great Things about England" and by-gum-by-gee, it won't inlcude David Beckham or the Queen or any of her like, ay wot....wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more!

Well, I think that SJP was the smart-arse (in the best possible sense!) He competed closely with Woody and Groucho for the list. But he was unique -- "they broke the mold before they made Perelman", to quote! :D

Kurt Vonnegut came very close. If you'd have asked me for a list thirty years ago, he'd definitely have made it. (Didn't we have a poster called Bokonon at one time?)
