Tom Brady is currently ranked #1 leader in the NFL in a national poll on espn.com.

Current rankings are:

1. Brady
2. P Manning
3. Favre
4. Ray Lewis
5. Tiki Barber
6. Jake Delhomme
7. Zach Thomas
8. Hines Ward
9. Matt Hasselback
10. Brian Dawkins

I think Delhomme, Ward and Thomas are rated too low and Favre, Tiki, Manning and Ray Lewis are rated too high, but I can't argue with the top guy! Tell us something we don't already know!

Brett Favre is rated too high in everything.

Sorry for the dbl post...

I agree. I don't see how the guy who said that it wasn't his job to mentor his teams newly drafted rookie quarterback and has toyed with his franchises future like a cat with a ball of yarn the past two offseasons can be considered a top three leader in the league.

Very good point. I also wonder how the guy with the big stats who always disappears when the pressure is on, then throws his teammates under the bus ("let's just say we had protection problems") , can be considered a top leader at all.

Favre has been rated too high since the GB sb defeat of the pats. Other than throw alot of Ints he has done nothing for the past few years. He showed absolutely nothing new in the preseason game, more Ints and over throws. GB should have just released him when it had a chance and tried their luck with Rodgers or whoever they could get.
