TB's role in the rookie WR development


Well, exactly. And it got worse as he got older. Brady has to guard against that--at some point, he'll miss some throws that he didn't used to miss, and he'll get more frustrated because of that.

Doesn't mean he still won't be great, and the Pats won't be able to win a SB with him. But ever-increasing levels of frustration won't help in that quest.

How do you realistically expect him NOT to be frustrated? He's one of the greatest of all time and he has garbage to work with, if you had guys that were playmakers I'm sure he'd be ecstatic. In order for him not to be frustrated he'd have to not care.

Because he didn't play like the greatest of all time on Thursday. He played terribly. Take a look at the long ball that everyone is saying Dobson dropped. He was wide open but Dobson had to stretch out to even get his fingertips on the ball. That ball could have been thrown much much better and the same was true for a lot of other throws.

QBs aren't going to throw perfectly all the time, a 66% for a career is incredible, so an incredible career is with 1/3 of the passes not being completed. Brady made mistakes, he'd be the first to admit it, but he was playing at a MUCH higher level than the receivers around him, exception Edelperson.
