Four of the guys are clearly special players -- the DL and Thomas. Three have been to the Pro Bowl; the fourth probably deserved a berth.

Mayo seems like he's on a fast track to being a fifth, but certainly hasn't cemented that status.

Meriweather may be rounding into being an above-average starter.

The rest are JAGs until proven otherwise.

Agree? Disagree?

Dline is overloaded with talent.

Jerod is a Pro-Bowler. Guyton will develop into a starter IMO. Both of them are athletic freaks.

Adalius is obviously great. One of Pierre Woods/Crable/Rudd will prove to be a very good starting OLB next year.

Our DBs went from being a weakness to being a strength. Meriweather is a playmaker. Leigh Bodden is entering his prime at 28, and is already a former Pro-Bowler. Shawn Springs is awesome (when healthy) and we have Wheatley, Butler, and Whilhite to round out that crew. I think Butler is going to develop into a STUD.

The defense may be improved similarly to the change from 2002 to 2003.
