Sad that you work hard all your life and then get railroaded by your own party. Isn't it ironic that 2 women ... the only women related to Benghazi took a hit from this disaster and neither one had anything to do with the overall operation going on over there. Nice job by the men to shield themselves.

BTW ... why no media reports from any of the survivors of that tragedy?

Talk about burying a story ... Obama's team got out the huge front loaders on this one.

Yeah. They seem to have really hung her out to dry on this. She knows it. If I were her, I'd quit the post right now and tell the WH to go funk themselves.

Republicans want Kerry to get it so Brown can get his seat.

Rice was a terrible ambassador anyway - US got embarrassed on that Palestine vote. Good in civil service, not a great politician

How, exactly, did the administration hang Rice out to dry?

They didn't nominate her. If she had been nominated, she would have had the advantages of full backing, legal counsel, and access to information to defend herself against the attacks from Congressional idiots and game-players like McCain. As it was, she was just a political ballon floated out there to see what would happen and how they could get around nominating Kerry and dealing with another Congressional race in Mass against Brown. This was the easy thing to do for the WH and she was thrown out as a test subject.

    Just my opinion.

She spread Obamas lies and paid the price.

Dont cry for her Argentina, Obama will reward those handsomely willing to take the fall for his failures.

I really don't think that Rice was the decider in how that vote was cast. Maybe it was someone else that embarrassed America.

Unfortunate as she was eminently qualified and a career diplomat.. the geriatric crew in the Senate got their way, only goes to show if you stamp your feet loud and long enough then things will happen.

Now there will be a political hack in this position..
