Surprises To Me

I think for me the biggest surprise was the number of 3 TE sets with only two active for the game.

I think Stallworth did not get much action due to an empahsis on power. I think he is better used in a 3WR set and with a heavy dose of 2 TE and 3 TE sets alternating Gaffne and Moss on the outside with thier size and Welker in the stacked formations.

Don't quote me on this, but I thought I read (on this site, buried in yesturdays threads somewhere) that Stallworth was lagging on his playbook stuff. It's well know that BB is not beneath quizzing the players and if he's not happy with the knowledge progress, he'll sit you and go with better prepared option.

Not saying that was the case, but it was mentioned in one of the multitudes of threads yesterday.

{/ rumor-mongering}

Although, I have to say that in the game planning, Gaffney (possession) was a better option for the power sets and Moss on the other side.

Thing is, with BB, we may never know the real reason.
