I supply the glazed spiral sliced ham w/ tons of slider buns and fixins, pot of veggie chili, cabbage/fennel slaw, stuffed grape leaves and marinated olives from Roslindale Fish Market and several dozen wings from the Galway House in JP. Lots of assorted microbrew, but low-test session types (I drink a ton during games). Guests all bring chips and dips and more beer. More beer.

:rocker:

I eat food everyday, not just during the superbowl. Eat less because im watching a thrilling game.

Standard fare pretty much, including salsa. I'm not too worried. In fact, I expect to see a salsa dance on the field...by McCourty when he intercepts a Manning desperation pass in the 4th with the Pats up 48-10.

just booze..i may be too nervous to eat anything....ahh

It was so nice today my buddy actually launched his boat and we went fishing in February. So now I have some Haddock to get rid of. Pretty much the only way I eat white fish these days is ceviche so that's what it will be. One big ass giant bowl.

1.5lbs-2lbs of cubed Haddock filets dumped into 2-gal ziplock
Fill bag with enough lime juice to cover fish completely, take air out with straw, let marinate in the fridge for 1.5-2 hours. Remove, drain.
Combine three diced bell peppers, one chopped red onion, a handful of chopped cilantro, and one diced avocado in a large mixing bowl.
Season fish to taste, add to bowl with the juice of one lime, and Trader Joe's Habanero Hot Sauce to taste.

Super clean, super good.

Sounds great, thanks. If I can get some really fresh fish some time, I'll try this.

Tomorrow it looks like a steak sandwich and red wine (if I can eat). Steak bashed out really thin and marinated with herbs and olive oil. Quick grilled on a ridged skillet, seasoned, squeeze of lemon and put in a loaf with mustard and arugula.

Most important is a bottle of champagne on ice for the end of the game -- if things come out as we all hope.

This will be my first time hosting a Super Bowl party. We've got chicken wings made in a smoker, sandwich wraps, pita bread with hummus, chips and dip, a veggie platter, bean dip, a few kinds of cookies, and I'm debating on getting a pizza or another main dish type option.

I grab whatever is on my neighbor's grill when he goes inside. Last year I got 2 toasted hot dog buns

Today I'm making a corned beef dinner, that we will have tonight, for tomorrow we'll have left over corned beef and the chilli I'm making in the crock pot. It's just my wife and I for the game tomorrow. There will be a little chilled whiskey ( for me) to accent the taste buds. Looking very forward to the game. Everyone please enjoy your day no matter, be safe, be happy, and eat healthy, and if you must drink, do it responsibly, if you have a designated driver, drink heavily ;) GO PATS!

A loaded antipasto with warm Italian sweet sausage homemade by the local deli, gravy with all the meats, hot Italian bread, clams casino, pasta chicken wings, grinders for later (I put those out a little before people start driving home) and people are bringing dips etc.

Our friend stopped by to drop off some gorgeous steaks so those are marinating. I always make deviled eggs too-people always seem to love deviled eggs for some reason.

Personally all I'm going to want tomorrow night are nibblies and maybe some finger foods:eek: And maybe just ONE of my mom's Italian cookies:p

America is fat because of the superbowl

We will be entering the Giant's Den here. Going to a friends house and they all like the Giants. We will be in full force though with all of us wearing our Patriot finest! I picked up some Sam Adams Boston Lager and am planning on making Boston Baked Beans as well :) We must represent!!!!!

not sure about lunch yet, but for the game we're trying something different for us, we'll be slow cooking some ribs for about 8 hours in the crock pot. along with some baked potatoes and jack

Simple veggies & crackers plate with an awesome crab dip for pre-game.

Chili and corn bread with Patriot decorated cupcakes(my daughter's suggestion) after.

Black n Tans with Maker's Mark waiting in the locker room for either the celebration or sobberation.

Pizza and chicken wings... boring

Pizza and chicken wings... boring

The classics are never boring. ;)

I had chips and dip to start, but decided at the last minute to have a 7-layer dip with tortilla chips as well. Two types of jalapeno poppers since I couldn't make up my mind between them. Lots of pizza and wings and cheesy bread for the mains with some cheesecake for dessert. For beverages, an assortment of "lucky" beers.

Oh, and this is just for me. I swear I'm going to gain 20 pounds tomorrow.
