Saw a forecast form a Providence TV station website that says high of 54°, low of 38° with intermittent showers.

If the rain stays away, could be a day we see Brady and Moss break the records for TD passes thrown (Brady needs 5) and caught (Moss needs 4), right?

I hope so for Tom, I'm taking my 10 year old to his first Pats' game, hoping for DECENT weather.

yup I agree - its the Wind thats the killer. Lets pray and hope. By the way -look at the forecast for the game against the Giants next week. I think Tony Dungy has been doing some Christmas wishing that might come true!

    Latest from NOAA Website:

Sunday: Showers likely, mainly after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 53. South wind 7 to 10 mph increasing to between 17 and 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Sounds like Tom will need to throw a couple of early TD's to avoid the wind!

Exactly, it's the wind that's the problem....let's hope it stays away!

I don't know about al of you, but I live in New England and have learned the hard way. If I want to know the weather forecast, I'll just look out the window. It's by far more correct.

4:15 games this late in the year are essentially NIGHT GAMES.

Certainly would be better to be playing when warmer; but cold should bother Fins more than Pats.

Reading the quotes from Brady in the past week; he really sounded jealous of guys playing in domes - very wishful that he wasn't in an outdoor stadium. (don't know if it came off different when you hear/see it - I was just reading)
Anybody think Brady is starting to get more impacted by cold, wet, windy weather as he gets older than when he was a young buck who was just happy to be on the field?

It would be nice to break the records in this game. If the Giants are still playing for a wild card spot next week, they could be a tough opponent, especially since I think maybe the Pats won't be quite as motivated given that they've already locked up everything that can be locked up.

I'm sorry, I must have missed the list of QBs who prefer to play in poor conditions. Perhaps you can enlighten me. :)

Here's a good web site for NFL stadium weather forecasts. It has a scroll bar on the right where you can click on the stadium of your choice and see the game day forecast:

    http://www.qwikcast.com/sports.shtml

As of today, the forecast is rain and a high of 51 (!).

If they were playing a College team the Giants would be a tough opponent. The Giants are terrible, they lost Shockey to a broken leg. Eli will gift wrap 2 TD's to our defense. They are undisciplined, they will get to the red zone and then march themselves back to the 35 without snapping the ball.

And the Pats will be highly motivated to win the 16th game. Miami will give us a tougher game.
