Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

I vow to this forum to now call Rex Ryan, "Rex Kramer".

So no one claims him but ten teams are now interested in signing him?

I believe the reason is had anyone claimed him they would have had to fit him into the Rookie Pool which most people perfer to use on their own players.

Only Al would cut a draft pick before TC.

If Al is a whacko for cutting a draft pick before training camp, what

will that make Bill Belichick if he cuts Ingram to sign Sulak?

Still a three time SB winning coach. Also if that were to happen look for Al Davis to sign Ingram, just to mess with BB's head.

Ingram hasn't signed yet, but the Pats still hold his rights. Unlike Davis, they have not rescinded their rights to the player.

The Pats can just let Ingram sit, they don't have to release his rights. He doesn't have any real leverage.

In that scenario, Al Davis would get in trouble for signing another team's draft pick. I imagine the league would penalize them severely.

And, equally importantly, they would not have to do so to sign Sulak.

I hope he gets signed, mostly because of his name....It sounds cool.

Hes got the size to play OLB and in college he was a proven pass rusher. Lets hope they get this deal done!!

Why would he have to cut Ingram to sign Sulak? Ingram isn't under contract so currently doesn't count against the 80 man roster.

Yes, because everyone knows that with the Pats defense, rookies can come in and pick up the defense right away and that the Pats defense THRIVES with having OLBs who stink against the run and in coverage....

I agree, they don't. Someone suggested earlier that the Patriots use
the money earmarked for Ingram to sign Sulak. This may have been
before it was determined that the rookie cap no longer applies to
Sulak.

No matter what they do, he is a practice squad player at best (right now, anyway)...

Maybe we can package him and a 6th round pick to the Raiders for Burgess? :D
