Sorry if this has been posted before, but it just crossed my mind; if we win Sat night, the Titans manage to lose and the Browns make the playoffs, and the Redskins manage to make it in, the Pats will have played 7of 12(cant play ourselves) playoff teams. Somewhat impressive to me at least

Mercury disagrees as does Shula, no matter if they go 16-0 or not somehow this feat will be minimized by the expected detractors.

If the Pats do win, somebody ought to tell Morris that the movers are warming up the Magellan/Garmin looking for his neighborhood.....

You cant compare the 2 teams head-to-head really, but you can compare their respective accomplishments. The 72 Dolphins did play a much weaker regular season schedule. However, they won 3 playoff games, including the AFCCC at PITT. That is very respectable IMO.

If they run the table and beat lets say JAX, INDY and DAL by a margin of lets say 15 PPG per contest, the 07 Pats will have had the greatest regular season in NFL history.

If you look at the 03 Pats schedule, they were 7-0 vs playoff teams. Not bad at all.
