Its not the Pats fault that they have kicked every team's *** that they have played thus far.

Which to me makes SOS much less of an issue.

    #24 Jersey

Yeah, when some team looks like they even belong on the same field then people can talk to us. We haven't had a competitive game yet.

means nothing now...cause all the teams we faced have 1 automatic loss..cause of the pats. plus you must factor in what other teams... the teams we have beat faced up till now.

So far all the Colts opponents have also had 1 automatic loss.

At the same time, I think the only good team the Colts have faced is the Titans, and they were a dropped pass and FG attempt away from losing.

The Broncos easily could have walked into that game against the Colts winless, having escaped with wins against Buffalo (and probably would have had Edwards started in place of Lossman) and the Raiders.

The Texans just got beat by a bigger Margin against the freaking Falcons.

    And the Saints just suck.

Tampa is decent, but this will not be the same team without cadilac Williams.

All that said, the Colts matchup very well against the Pats.

SOS through four games means more than SOS from last year's schedule because it takes into account the off season changes -- seeing how acquisitions and losses affect the team. Some teams will get better as players play together, but after camp, preseason, and four games, you know something. Going forward, the SOS will be refined as more data is collected and SOS will change due to injuries, BUT few teams that are not winning now will climb the mountain. Some will, but not enough to affect SOS.

Teams that have the Pats, Colts, Steelers, Packers, or Cowboys on their schedule are probably going to lose another game, a team with all five on their schedule would be looking at trouble. Likewise, teams playing the Fins, Saints, or Rams, will probably improve their record.

So, I think SOS at the bye will look more like SOS after four weeks than before Week 1.

Thanks for doing the work. Much appreciated. However, stuhtistiks can be misleading, as we face two of the remaining 4--0 teams and one of the 3--1's.

Why does it matter that we haven't beaten an elite team yet? We are going to have our chance soon. We are 4-0 and looking pretty damn good so I'm not worried.

Exactly where did anyone say it mattered? No reason to get defensive until someone actually says something even a little bit bad about the Patriots. Or maybe you should switch to decaf.

Its in response to other teams fans or whoever is saying we have just been playing soft teams so far and that we may not be as good as we actually look. It wasn't in response to anyone here. Don't be a jack*** about it.

I would say the Pats have the toughest schedule in the league. They play all the top teams (Pitt, Indy, Dallas) with the exception of the Seahawks. Also figure a tough game against the Phins too.
