    Subtitle for this OpEd:

The bureaucrats at the Internal Revenue Service did exactly what the president said was the right and honorable thing to do.

She is exactly right the President set the tone for this sort of abuse.

Strassel: The IRS Scandal Started at the Top - WSJ.com

Now Clinton flack, Lanny Davis asks about what the WH knew and when the WH knew it:

Coming from Mr Davis in this forum (TheHill.com website) that means the Clinton's are going after Obama, this article is in retaliation for the emails released this week by the WH that show Hillary changing the Benghazi talking points, to cover her failure to provide security and the fact that she KNEW it was a terrorist attack.

This warfare between the Clintons and Obama will be a good show. Time to pass the popcorn. Since they are both guilty and hopefully will destroy each other.

What this Obama organization does is break the law and take the hit because nobody will do anything about it anyway.
The end justifies the means, constitution or the law be damned.

15000 new IRS agents for Obamascare...where do you think those hires will come from Bob Jones U? Baylor? SMU? BYU?
No. They'll be hand picked Che T-Shirt wearing air heads from Berckley, NYU, Chi. U. and Bill Ayers Pressue Cooker School. True blue america hating socialist.

Strassel has a history of misrepresenting things in the past, which reflected her partisan point of view..

An editorial is an opinion, and often based on what she heard..

Thankfully, we don't members foolish enough to attempt to police this board as if they're on a higher moral ground.

This is very easy to trace and I don't think it can be because David Axelrod is not a government employee. Bush's henchman was Rove ... Obama is Axelrod. If they want to correct this behavior these non government employees need to be subpoenaed in the future. Until that happens these investigations will either lead nowhere or take a few years to investigate.

It's like the mafia with the Consigliere ...

I think this is funny that anti-tax con groups were having to endure a bit of extra scrutiny. They earn it with each passing day, running their mouths about tax burdens and endlessly looking for loopholes that aren't even designed for them. I've lost even more respect for Obama for not telling the GOP to go ***k themselves, once and for all.

These Tea Party asshats are perpetually looking to defraud existing tax guidelines and constantly vowing to avoid taxes they disagree with. If your group professed to soon blow stuff up, they'd be added to some terror watch list. I don't see how this is much different in principle.

Meanwhile, cons will fight tooth and nail to keep corporations like ExxonMobil from paying tax, and to keep that undisclosed corporate campaign money funneling right through via Citizen's United. There's the REAL tax scandal.

What we can learn from cons like 13 is that comprehensive surveillance on every aspect of your digital lives for the sake of terror paranoia is "good government at work." However, being under the microscope by the tax collector when your entire group's platform is undermining the tax code? "ZOMG! What a horrific miscarriage of federal justice!!!!"

I am a bit on scandal overload at the moment .... I will sit this one out and let the legal system or Congress or whomever handle this mess. Maybe this will help usher in the flat tax tiers .

Obama is done politically as Dems distance themselves from all the scandal and drama. Everyone hates the IRS and combined with Obama you have the perfect accelerant for those on the fence to finally see Barry for the fraud that he is.

Remember when the photo with GWB was the kiss of death? Dont get caught with Barry if youre up for reelection.

Obama is poison now and theres no way in hell that his big immigration bill is ever going to have enough Dem votes. The Hispanics will then turn on him. The Media is already turning on him. Obamacare trainwreck is just ahead and by the time 2014 rolls around enough voters will be sure to castrate Barry so he can do no further harm to this county.

You guys perfected the craft, and it's worked well for you. Maybe we should start to give it a try.

But if it's "typical," why do you act surprised? LOL.... Oh 13, such keyboard contradiction.

I notice you didn't flesh out much of a distinction regarding the challenge I put to all you junior Norvquists. If you threaten, you'll be watched. If you don't do anything wrong, you don't have anything to worry about. I mean, isn't that what you chickenhawks have been trumpeting since 9/11?

Gosh, why shouldn't a group that does **** like this not earn a closer look?:

TheTeaParty.net/Stop This Insanity: TheTeaParty.net/STI is a 501(c)(4) group incorporated in Arizona in early 2010 by Todd Cefaratti, who runs a "lead generation" company that provides contact information to reverse-mortgage companies, some of whose operations have been compared to those of the subprime lending industry. The group advertises under a number of variations on the tea party name, and some other tea partiers have complained almost from its inception that the group is nothing more than a data harvesting operation. (Cefaratti defended himself against the criticism in a long post here.) FEC filings show that a "leadership fund" set up by the group raised almost $1.2 million in 2012, and gave only $52,000 to candidates for federal office.

We are discussing "Strassel: The IRS Scandal Started at the Top"....we are NOT attempting to corner other posters. But I know that's difficult for somone who comes here thinking everything's a contest he's needs to win.

Why do you post so aggressively?

LOL. Shut yourself off for the night. You're not a mod here, and you don't dictate what's relevant perspective and what isn't.

My post cuts to the heart of your Tea Bag anti-tax philosophy. Just waiting for any one of you to actually deal with it first, instead of sounding like nothing more than perpetual hypocrites. Why shouldn't organized tax evaders be under more scrutiny? Tell us? We're willing to listen.

Because you guys are "aggressively" ruining the world? We've covered this, and yet you're still asking.

LOL!!!! another in an endless line of straw men.

You're free to "speak" all you like.

You continue run from the questions put to you on this topic, so I'll assume you have nothing. As I guessed.

Threaten the government, expect to be watched. Simple, really. I don't necessarily agree with it, but it's precisely what you guys said regarding terror.

Given that premise which I agree with, how do you explain the Baptist groups,
RealClearReligion - IRS Targeted Baptist Newspaper
    the conservative Hispanic groups,
Conservative Hispanic Groups Targeted In IRS Scandal - Thoughtful Women
the Jewish groups (ones that were not primarily pro_Israel)
Conservative Hispanic Groups Targeted In IRS Scandal - Thoughtful Women
as well as anything with the words conservative or tea party having a three year process to get approval as well as intrusive questions? These questions/demands were for all emails as well as whether any members would run for political office as well as grilling pro-life groups for the content of their prayers?
    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...d-pro-life-group-about-content-their-prayers/
That has a chilling effect on all, not just on those who threaten the government.
I listened to the entire three hour hearing on CSPAN radio ( I had a long drive moving my son home from college) and it was scary as the acting commissioner took what I felt to be a nonchalant attitude towards the whole things. I think it is a sea-change in how the IRS is perceived and will lead to a great many reforms... Wait until you see how many 2014 candidates run against the IRS.. It is a win-win.....
