Boy, it's about time we started spending some taxpayer money on Americans. I'm sick and tired of all the deficits the Republicans piled up spending money to "help" people overseas.

I think Obama will raise taxes on the rich, but that said, hopefully your grandkids will be rich.

Bush II started us on this windy road to ruin.

Now Obama has found a shortcut.

Every "Yes" vote = A guilty plea.

I can see it now - Obama in the oval ... "George thought he could waste some money? Watch this!"

What I really enjoy is the keaning and wailing of the by-and-large lockstep rejectionists, saying the OTHER side (you know the side that WON) isn't bipartisan enough and have they should at least give em a reacharound over the aisle or something.

It's going to be interesting to find out whether people consider the GOP to be providing a valuable service or just being a bunch of bizzatches.

It's a great time to be alive :) Now hopefully we still have an economy in 5 years.

They're tricky terms because they have different meanings in different parts of the country and so many different variables. But, to play it safe, I think that generally anyone earning $200k is middle class, while anyone earning $500k is rich.

The people will pay these bastards back, at the polls, this is great for the Republicans, we'll be seeing a lot of Sarah Palin, she might even make it to the White House.

Now we can hang some more pictures of John Lennon & Oko having sex on their refrigerator in the NY City Art Gallery.

    Some Comments, Link Below:

Indeed. Khrushchev must be smiling in his grave. I would not be surprized to learn that the USSR had imported the dope-smoking hippies in the 60's to pollute our society to the extent that we would someday elect a bunch of far left Communists. I firmly believe, however, that we'll be able to take it all back in 2010 without much trouble...

Everyone I know wants to know why there isn't a revolution. This country is crying for one. How can we get it started?

Everyone needs to remember this and when Election time rolls around VOTE OUT OF OFFICE EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR THIS! from the Messiah all the way down to the Last senator and congressperson
I only hope and pray that by then it is not too late! to fix what they have managed to do in just a few short weeks

House OKs $787B stimulus bill with GOP opposition

How you gonna fix it, Harry? Vote in Republicans? You think they're any different than Democrats?

Ever heard of the game, "Good Cop-Bad Cop"? It's what the "two parties" have been doing to the country since Ike gave his farewell address
YouTube - Eisenhower warns us of the military industrial complex.

The Rep's and Dems have us arguing with each other about welfare, gay marriage and Intelligent design while they take turns at ripping us off. It's being done by the lawyers, doctors, bankers and media. They all are billionaires and they are getting rich off looting the treasury and crushing us with fees and taxes. Follow the money. It comes out of our pockets, goes into the treasury and gets dumped back into the corporations. All the while, they have ius believing that there are actually two parties. You should know better, Harry. You've been around long enough to see that they're both fukcing us where we don't want it.

Look, US taxpayers lost close to 50% of their retirement funds because of inaction.

Combined, they lost way more in retirement, property assets, and in many cases income than the size of the stimulus bill. Chances are someone who had $200,000 in retirement funds and property assets, now has half of that. Should they trust what they have left to the vagaries of the economic system? I think that's a ridiculous option. Capitalism is not a religion; it's an economic system; and periodically needs to be manhandled. I just don't get conservative thinking. It's as if they would rather let the fire burn itself out than dump water on it. Even Bush understood that something had to be done.

The stimulus bill pumps money directly into the economy. It supports education, health care, invests heavily in alternative energy, infrastructure issues, the unemployed, and investments in science and new technologies. It will create a lot of jobs, will reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and will help the young generation get better educations. Will it work? Well, it will work at least somewhat. The only question is whether it will be enough.

Your right about the Republicans being no friggin good either and I have said many times that all politicians in America are filthy friggin swine, if anybody in my family said the were going into politics I'd shoot them but in this situation the Republicans seem to be "the best of a bad lot" the democrats led by this Strutting Arrogant Chicago Politician Scumbag Obama seem to be pushing America directly into Marxist Socialist Communism.

Now that this over the next thing on the "Socialist Marxist Pig Plate" is CENSORSHIP (talk radio) the socialist pigs can't compete so they want it Shut Down.

TAKE TO THE STREETS STEAL A PLASMA TV BURN CARS THATS HOW OTHER "SCREWED PEOPLE" GET RESULTS.

KRUSCHEV SAID "WE WON'T HAVE TO FIRE A SHOT YOU WILL DESTROY YOURSELVES FROM WITHIN" wherever he is today he's laughing his a$s off.

It's funny to see Patters gitty over deficit spending. As usual, with him it always depends on who it is that's adding to the deficit.

I love how none of the pols who voted on this bill, even had a chance to read it.

Meet the new people, same as the old people.

Actually, Obama is doing what he promised. He's bringing people together. In the House, all Republicans and 7 Democrats voted against it. That's bipartisan.
