It seems that the bottom five roster spots are still up for grabs, depending on health and game plan.

INCUMBENTS
1) DB Molden
2) ST Tarp (seems safe for now)
3) TE Grankowksi (hopefully he's staying)
4) ST Ventrone
5) CB Moore

COULD COME BACK AT ANY TIME AFTER THE BYE (SOME COULD BE BACK EVEN BEFORE)
A) OT Welch
B) DB Adams (he might beat Brown's record)
C) RB Faulk
D) DE Deaderick
E) DT Brace
F) OL Cannon
G) TE Mills

what record is that? People mentioned tony Gaiter as an on and off roster player, but what about Maugaula Tuitele?

Damn, I hope you appreciate how hard that was to look up. He had a nickname for short which I also can't remember, but he was on and off the roster for three years at backup linebacker 2000-2002.

BB has never been a "name brand" type of coach, allowing competition to outweigh "history". But there are more "names" (Faulk, Brace) in the replacement group...

Vereen. If we don't see him soon does he redshirt on IR to make room for Faulk ? Thought Kevin was in trouble this summer, but seeing him on the sidelines even though he is injures speaks volumes.

Deaderick and Brace. With all the DL injuries they seem like they're "in" as well.

Just saying : I wonder if the PUPers will stabilize this "final five".

The last roster spots up for grabs ... that is earth shattering news and a deviation from the norm for Bill.

There's no way they would IR a healthy, talented player like Vereen, given the injuries they've had. They could need him as early as today, given that both Woodhead and BJGE are nicked up.

When Faulk comes off PUP, Vereen might have some inactive games, but there's no way they'll IR him for the Jeff Tarpanians and Phillip Adamses of the world.

Sometimes posters like to go way out on a limb. ;)

I think that Gronk 2 was brought back to help with the blocking today and it he doesn't commit the penalties he did a few weeks ago, he might stick around. Then again, one never knows what the hooded one will do. :)
