I can remeber in that years draft there was some debate over who was the best TE, Stevens or Graham.

The debate is over. Graham does so many more things than Stevens and he contributed to 2 SB wins. Stevens can't block and he certainly can't catch.

More than just the debate, supposedly Holmgren really wanted Graham and settled for Stevens when we traded ahead of them. Seattle took Stevens 7 picks later. I just hope Graham and Watson can both be healthy next year and the OL can improve to the point that they can both be used in the passing game more (as receivers).

The Seahawks were also gnashing their teeth when we grabbed Wilfork and they had to settle for Marcus Tubbs.

I was thinking the exact same thing. He had his one touchdown grab, but he was completely open courtesy of an illegal pick on Polamalu.

But, outside of that TD, he must've dropped at least 4 more balls...

I'll take Graham or Watson or even Christian Fauria (a Seattle castoff) over Stevens!

Actually, the debate was Shockey vs Graham. Everybody
knew Stevens had character issues. I'll fess up. I liked Graham
more than Shockey. Grahambo just having too much trouble
staying on the field. I love what he brings to the table. Just
wish he could stay healthy.

Wrong. Everyone knew Shockey was going way before Graham, so there was no debate at all.

I'm wrong? Look at your quote dude. You said there was debate over
the best te Graham or Stevens. I corrected you. Therefore I'm right.
And, you're wrong. Before you call someone out. Look at what you
are calling them out for.

You are right and I am wrong, so I aplogize. Because of the way I worded the sentence in the first post. I was not putting Shockey in the mix.

The debate was over who was better, Graham or Stevens. Shockey was already considered a top 10 pick but he fell to 14.

There was no debate over Shockey vs Graham vs Stevens. Am I right about that?

The point of my post is that we made the right move in choosing Graham over Stevens.

Peace out. I actually liked Graham over Shockey. Good thing I don't
draft for Pats..lol...I never say Stevens play in college. Didn't know
anything about him. I'd love to see Graham and Watson stay healthy
in 06. They would be a deadly combo. Graham's screen for a td
against Atlanta was awesome. He leveled one of my guys(B.Scott-PSU)
on his way to the endzone. His blocking was key in beating Carolina.
He wiped Peppers out on a lot of Smith's runs. We've all seen what
B.Watson can do now. Let's hope for good health.

After getting into the b !tch-slap session with Porter during the week, you'da thunk he would come up big-time. Instead he just looks like a punk.
