Sebman may have been thinking that a Vrabel/Colvin/Thomas rotation might work with a Seau/Bruschi/Thomas rotation. And with an ILB coming out on long-yardage.

This could help Bruschi and Vrabel stay in better health through the season and keep the offense guessing.

Which makes sense. That's what I think the Pats will do.
