i always liked these clips, though i wonder if this one would have been better with a football player instead

also, players dont usually jsut stand around in -10 weather, they either put something on, or are moving around on the field

I've always wondered why players insist on leaving their arms exposed in frigid temperatures. I understand you want to be tough, but there are biological implications (pointed out in this video) to that decision. Your body reacts to extreme cold by restricting blood to the extremities (bad thing for anyone handling a football) and burning energy at a higher rate. You would think that regulating your body temperature effectively would give you a competitive advantage.

I did see Jared Allen covered up for the Monday night game...but he didn't do much and his team got blown out, so what do I know.
