SPECTER PRESSER POSTPONED
Posted by Mike Florio on May 13, 2008, 4:19 p.m.

The much-anticipated press conference of Senator Arlen Specter (R-Pa.), who was planning to meet with the media after meeting with former Pats employee Matt Walsh this afternoon, has been postponed.

The press conference instead will occur tomorrow.

The meeting started late and the duration is anticipated to go a long time,” Specter’s spokesperson, Kate Kelly, said.

Perhaps the meeting is running late because Specter keeps asking the same question over and over to Walsh, who according to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has no new evidence of cheating by the Patriots.

“Are you sure?”

LOL. He knows the media is Spygated out for the day, plus with the primary in WV and the earthquake in China it won't get much play.

Everyone BUT Sen Comcast thinks it's over.

Must be past his afternoon nap time.

I'm willing to wager that there will be a story in the NYT tomorrow morning with a lot of quotes from Specter stating how he is upset with the NFL sweeping this under the rug and that he vows to continue his investigation.

Senator Senile missed the Media Cycle for the 6 O'Clock News. That's the only reason He'll have it tomorrow. He can do the presser and then go out and have an Early Bird Dinner.
