Awesome. ... but where are the neked broads?
"I'm not sure what my role in this offense is going to be, they are letting me do things that nobody else has. They are saying, hey can he do this? and then Yeah, he can do that. "

I said NSFD. That
Ahhh! I thought that stood for North Shore Fire Dept..I said NSFD. That would be NSFW.
Yea. This guy really seems genuine. He's buying right into the the "way". I'm loving this guy already. How can you not be pumped for the season to start. I want to stop watching so much, just to say FU to the league. Guys like this just keep me in.A few quotes from Bennett's rounds at BSPN this am....
"I don't mind being Robin (to Gronk's Batman)"
"I will get a lot of single coverage (with Gronk on the field)"

"Brady's personality is contagious, you can't help but work harder because he always is"
This guy has serious talent and is not going to have Tony Romo or Jay Cutler throwing to him this year. Plus no way you can double him.
Hey BB, let's go and get his brother too!
a jealous new york fan.The guy looking at her from behind is hilarious.
I found this off of Ian's 6/15 news thread. And if you ever needed a reason to root for Martelous Bennet here it is, giving a TED talk on creativity. It is well worth the 14 minutes to
This is guy who will feel right at home in that Patriot lockerroom. A place where he isn't even the only children's book author.
BTW- if you don't know what a TED talk is, it is were really smart people talk about some subject to an audience of other really smart people and the rest of us get to benefit from what is said., If that sounds cryptic, sorry, its an NPR thing.
I love TED talks they always have such a powerful message that makes you think. I did not realize just how smart this guy is. You read the stuff about what a locker room cancer he is and how he doesn't fit. After listening to that I think he will fit with the Patriot locker room like a glove. Yeah he is a little wacky and out there but so is Gronk and Edleman. At the end of the day he loves football and playing but knows who he really is and that life is more then just football. Based on his comments I would imagine the "things he has never been asked to do" don't involve skills he has never seen before but reads and options he has never been asked to do. Like wow this guy has some skills but wait....he is REALLY smart too. I would bet a lot of money every offense he has been in before is ok run down the seam. This one is if the LB is 3 yards from the LOS run down the seam but if he is 5 run a post Or if he is inside run an out. Oh but if the safety is over the top make that an in. Before this I hoped Marty would be able to get all that. Having watched this I know he will get it and I am now going to the hospital for this thing that hasn't gone down in 4 hours
...and I think what she was doing was completely foreign to him.a jealous new york fan.
The thing is, its doubtful. It's a shame too. I think he'll fit like a glove. He won't get paid here tho and IMO if some players used to give teams home town discounts, which they did, I think that kind of goodwill went out the window with deflategate, etc and how hard the nfl is pushing for absolute power for the commish. So, not all, but the players will now go out and get that biggest payday they can knowing how they can be victimized in a heartbeat. Sorry, not trying to get off track.it sounds good, but he reminds me a little of Brandon Lloyd, who was also considered intelligent and quirky and also had interests outside of football. hopefully Bennett will do well and stick around for more than one year.
