jax + ten

.

Thx, eom! Appreciated....

Hmmmmm.... Tennessee looks to be pretty good using last season as a barometer and Jax would look to be middle of the pack......Nice ammo to have going into next years draft......Cool!

If Vollmer makes it and becomes a RT mauler he could become a cult hero here with that size nastiness when he flattens people. Think about it ... when was the last time we had an RT to root for.

I think SeaBass will start somewhere on the Oline, in his second year, but eventually he will end up at Left Tackle. He just seems to have the quick feet to make it there. He obviously has the size and heft to be a good Right tackle too. When he was drafted, the Pats could have taken William Beatty whose only drawback is that he needs seasoning before being a good LOT. You don't pass up that kind of guy for a RT only, especially when you have no burning need at LOT right now.

Since Scarneccia went to Houston and worked him out physically and then spent time getting to know him, he was judged a coach-able candidate for his coaching and eventually be a pro-bowl type lineman. SeaBass is a "gamble on greatness", as they say.:D
