Gee, I wonder if something fishy went on with these guys? Sounding a lot like they have something (a lot) to hide!

"NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Top Solyndra executives are not going to testify before Congress about the federal government's backing of the failed solar power company.

Solyndra Chief Executive Brian Harrison and Chief Financial Officer Bill Stover will exercise their Fifth Amendment rights at an upcoming hearing before the House Energy and Commerce Committee, the company said in a statement Tuesday."

Hopefully, ALL Americans want to know the truth about this scam. It's not a partisan issue, but it will play out like it is.

They are following the advice of their lawyers in light of an an FBI investigation. Given that Issa has from the start had it out for the Obama administration and that the Republicans are vehemently against green energy and in the pockets of big oil, I think it's reasonable for any reasonable person not to trust a committee dominated by House Republicans. At any rate, so far there's no evidence of a scandal, just the belief by Republicans that since a major shareholder was an Obama supporter (though, as the article notes the second largest shareholder leans Republican), there must be something fishy. Generally, Americans don't trust politicians, so it's hard to blame the Solyndra officials from following the advice of their lawyers in this case.

Taking the 5th does not denote complicity or guilt, it is simply a guarantee by that damned old constitution...

An agenda driven congressional committee does not play by the same rules as a court of law...
