Back on subject and ignoring the troll, the Dolphins could actually be the second best team in the division if they get Manning (assuming he can do anything) or Matt Flynn. Not that it is saying much. I think the Jets are going to be as bad or worse as last year since they are not going to actively improve their team this offseason. And the Bills are the Bills.

Down the stretch last year, the Dolphins were clearly the second best team in the division. If they didn't start the season with 7 straight losses, they might have contended for a Wild Card since the AFC sucked this year.

The Dolphins offense just lacks firepower. JAGs in the running game, not much at TE besides Fasano and Clay, who looked alright as a rookie. He's sort of a FB hybrid. Like I said before, Bess is easily the best slot WR in the game behind Cruz. But that doesn't mean much with Chad Henne and Matt Moore. I think the Dolphins season falls on one thing: QB.

It's tough to answer this question without free agency being accounted for. A healthy Manning and Wayne added to the offense makes the team a lot different than having Flynn under center.

If the team can find a way to get Manning in, especially if he brings Wayne/Garcon with him, it has a chance to compete with the Patriots for the division title and a chance to become a Super Bowl contender.
