So what has Brady been hiding?

I ask you to give me your phone so we can review the data. You say no. I say I'll take ......

I still asked for your phone.

Here's Wells:

So, when you hear the NFL side trying to pretend that they didn't ask for the phone, you know they are lying, regardless of their semantics.

The NFL's story in essence is that they asked for the whole phone, then backed down and asked for information from the phone, and Brady's side refused to give them that.

Naturally, their spin tries to obscure the first part of that.

Frankly, the evidence is fairly persuasive that he's hiding something.

No, it's not. Well, not beyond the general "none of your business", anyway.

The point is that people were claiming they never asked for the phone. I was showing that to be incorrect. What the NFL is doing is simple spin, and it's so lousy that Florio's already calling them out on it.

He's obviously hiding his German dungeon porn collection

For someone astute as Brady is, he's played this mess entirely wrong from the very beginning.

It's amazing how people just latch on to "cell phone destroyed" 8 months later and just chose to ignore the ORIGINAL NFL leak..."10 psi's!!". It's crazy. No matter what anyone says to 100% refute this league, they make up NEW "allegations" and present them as FACTS.

What's worse is that, even after months of so many of us pointing this stuff out, we've still got the the suckers posters here who are allowing themselves to be played all over again.

I understand why Brady would destroy his phone- personal privacy and all that- but I don't understand why he would do it at such a time where all the scrutiny was already on him. Why not wait?

Deep down you know the answer, you are just not ready to accept it yet.

You mean, after a lie (2 psi) was introduced as fact, and he was forced to try to explain something that hadn't even happened?

It's not about the truth. It's about public relations. He should have known this from the very beginning how the NFL handles these types of controversies.

ESPN is not the NFL. You're making no sense.

Just following up on this, post Kraft/Brady responses....

Do any of the people who were losing their minds, yet gain, yesterday, want to walk their positions back today?

Befuddled old Bob was too trustingly naive! He was hoodwinked! He has the fans' best interests at heart after all.

Give me a freaking break. He knew what he was doing all along, including today's empty mea culpa. Action, Bob, action. That's what we need to see. Something. Anything other than words.

Yes, the panic of the usual suspects was full bore yesterday

No, Tune, you've got it all wrong. Poor little Bobby is just a babe in the woods. He can't be expected to deal with someone as dastardly and cunning as Rodger Goodell.

And he's really sorry that he voted with his pocketbook, so we should all give him lots more money now.

If you want to bash Kraft, I'm with you. If you want to point out that the NFL always had the edge, I'm with you. When you go beyond that, as you did, you lose me.

Lol. No clue what you're talking about.

Brady is losing the PR battle, which this was always about IMO. If you disagree with that, fine.

Your words:

The 'very beginning' for Brady was the press conference following the false ESPN report. After that, the Brady camp went silent. I'm not sure what the hell you could possibly expect at that point. The NFL had the power to impose a gag order on the Patriots, for crying out loud.

Maybe he had pics of Gisele's feet and didn't want them getting leaked to Rex Ryan
