Tom Brady was paired with Steve Marino this week in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Through one round, they are -4 and tied for 92nd. The cut is after three rounds and the top 25 pro-am teams make it, so through one day it doesn't look like the team of Brady/Marino will be around on Sunday.
I'm somewhat of a golf junkie, so if you're unfamiliar with Steve Marino, he currently occupies the title of "Best golfer without a win". He's very talented, he made the most birdies on the PGA Tour of any golfer in 2008. He's still 29 years old, so his first victory shouldn't be too far away.
Marino was -2 on his own ball, so Brady kicked in at least 2 birdies of his own.
And I guess I have to mention the obvious part, anyone else find the irony in a team of Brady and Marino?
