All three times our offense has been stoned, it's been because Moss has been taken out of the game.

Cleveland, first 3 quarters of Indy, tonight.

If anyone finds a way to take both Moss and Welker out, we could be in trouble.

True but if we had any semblance of a running game this wouldn't be a problem because if teams did this to us we'd run it down their throats all game long. Unfortunately, this Pats team can't run the ball to if their lives depended on it.

That's the rub though, isn't it? If you focus on Moss, there's no way for you to dedicate the manpower to shutting down Welker AND getting pressure on Brady. Not with 11 guys anyways.

they did take Moss AND Wekler out. That's why Tom threw to Gaffney :)

Not every team has 2 pro bowl caliber CB's and a decent pass rush. The Eagles didn't go to the Super Bowl for no reason. They have good players on defense ... it's their offense that has been their weak link in recent years.

The Browns have zero good corners and took Moss out of the game. I think it just takes determination and a willingness to give up the short stuff all day.

The Pats' offense "stoned"? Are you stoned? One punt (when it mattered). 410 net yards. 63% 3rd down efficiency. No turnovers. 31 points (take away the Asante TD and add in the Moss disgraceful call) despite having only 7 "real, trying to score" offensive possessions.

Wow. The Eagles really had the Pats' number.
