If the Pats earlier offerered AV approx. $2M, and Adam said he would have been happy at $3M, isn't it money well spent to bridge the gap and negotiate a deal with him quickly if we have an extra $10M to spend?
 
I would think it would be...but??? Wouldn't AV wish to go for money now that it will be out there??
