In a speech before the American Newspaper Publishers Association, John F Kennedy openly spoke about his disdain for secret societies in America. I listened to his speech (link below) and thought, my God this man had balls. He just didn't give a rat's ***** about ruffling the feathers of those who saw themselves as the powerful in this country.

    If I heard a modern president give the same speech today, I think I'd pass out from shock. here's a paragraph from his speech;

"The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know."

I'd love to hear what others think about what he had to say. Similar to the Moyer's speech, he talks about a press with integrity and responsibility to the American people...pretty powerful stuff IMO.

Can anyone name the society JFK was a member of, that essentially every president since '52 has been involved with?

Is that all you have to say? I said comment on what you think about the speech and you go giving a pop-quiz.

    Why?

Because this is the second or third time you've mentioned this particular speech (first in it's own thread) and I just think it's funny that you're holding JFK up like some kind of god of politics (what it seems to me you're doing) when he was in the secret society plotting world domination/one government while he was giving the damn speech about how evil secret societies were.

In case it went over your head--let me simplify it for you: I'm commenting on your post by pointing out that JFK was in a secret society. Which means his speech was as much bunk as any other politician's speech you could name.

Which secret society are you talking about? I know he wasn't a skull & Bones or a Freemason, so which one are you referring to? Harry Truman, Barry Goldwater, Lyndon Johnson, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton and many other politicians are confirmed Freemasons. but not John F Kennedy. If you disagree, you need to include some proof.

I'm just guessing, but I'd say you haven't read or listened to the speech and you have no clue as to its contents.

Man, those K of C guys are dangerous!

a paul has to be talking about the Freemasons when he asked that question, but JFK was not a member. I wonder where he got the little known fact that "every president since 1952 was a member..." of which ever society he is referring to?

Although the list I made previously includes just about all of them except Jimmy Carter and JFK.

a paul really get disturbed by JFK praise...kinda wierd I think.

Some people do have lives & hopefully a job, so that could be why he hasn't posted. Just a thought.

How can you say for certain that he wasn't a member of one? He talked about transparency of the government, yet put forth a covert policy, Operation Mongoose, where he torched fields and created chaos in Cuba, to thwart Castro. Speeches are nice, and JFK was probably a swell dude, but he's a Kennedy, and that family is less than honest. Obviously John might have been different, but with all the women he went through, cheating on his wife, how can we not have the least bit of doubt about his sincerity? I wasn't alive when he was president, so who knows. I'm merely pointing out that assuming what's fact is a flawed path to travel.

Why JFK and the oldest Secret Society in the world are responsible for the world as it is right now: A case study in the bloodsucking government of the United States of America

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I want to bring something to your attention right now.

I know most of you will call me crazy like always, but I hope that you all understand that ever since World War II, the country has been in the hands of a secret society older than the Freemasons.

With my exhaustive independent investigations, I have uncovered many many thruths that the government is afraid will get out.

Like how they want to keep marajuana illegal, not because it's dangerous, but because that way it's still "cool" and "hip", so kids will smoke it, and buy all sorts of Ho-Ho's and Ding Dong's, keeping the damnthegovernment Government front company "Hostess" in business so they can funnel proceeds from their casino in Reno into their secret slush fund to refill the secret indoor pool in the White House with Perrier every day.

But this is more important than that. This is the most important thing I have ever brought to your eyes.

Yes folks, JFK was a vampire...

LMAO!! Thanks for the morning humor R-Dub! I loved the ring-ding/ding-dong comments!

Is it possible that a. paul just wanted to get everyone running around trying to find an answer to his question just for kicks?

Oddly enough, for PC who claimed the Bildeberg types had JFK killed, he was a member of the CFR, which is handholding with the Bilderbergs....

Having a transparent government doesn't mean you don't have military secrets. You talk about the failed Bay of Pigs invasion when you don't have a clue what it was like to be in elementary school and have to go through nuclear attack drills at very innocent ages. The school bus I took to my (catholic) school used to drive by a Nike Missile site and often watch the 30 ft high missiles rise from under the ground 2 at a time as they practiced their own nuclear attack drills.

But for some reason, you don't mention the Cuban Missile Crisis which was the greatest American military victory in history without having to fire a shot. Have you ever watched the film "Missiles of October"?

So it was impossible not not have secret defense operations. But there is one FACT. No president ignited more passion in the hearts of US citizens and just as importantly, in people's hearts around the world than JFK. Ronald Reagan was loved, but nothing like JFK.

Do you know anything about the substance of the changes of JFK was trying to achieve in this country? Do you realize he was trying to expose the elitists who believed it was their inherited right to carry on the torch of our forefathers? Do you know that more than half of all US presidents have been related?

But this thread is NOT about the quality of JFK's character or our opinions regarding his affairs (which BTW, happened BEFORE he became president) so let's try to keep our discussion to the speech we all need to listen to make comments here.

So how can I say he was not a member of a secret society? This way..."John Kennedy was not a member of a secret society".

Kinda like the way a. paul said he was:rolleyes:

Also, this speech is not as much about secret societies as it is about the responsibility of the press in a free society. I just thought the title would grab more attention. But if readers LISTEN to the speech, there won't be any confusion as to the topic here.

So it doesn't bother you that he was a member of the CFR, which is conspiring with Bilderbergers leading us closer and closer to one world government?

And now I see you're back-tracking a little. You now say the speech isn't really about secret societies, but you thought "SECRET SOCIETIES IN US" would really grab attention.

    Huh.

Do you work for the National Enquirer by chance?

Please provide a link to a source that proves he was a member of this society.

"If" JFK was a member of this society, would it bother me? No, because it's not a SECRET SOCIETY. I see more Republican names on the list of members than Democrats! Below is a list of both US corporate members and historically significant members and I do not see "John F Kennedy" on the list.
