According to Schefter, Seattle is considering signing Marshall to an offer sheet.

The Seahawks have the sixth and fourteenth picks in the first round.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Seattle considering Marshall

If so Marshall TJ and Branch would make a legit trio.

Add to the mix that Ben Watson is visiting. What if he signs? Their arsenal becomes one of the deadliest in the league.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Seattle considering Marshall

I'm sure he's so excited to go play for the skeleton of Matt Hasselback. Hey if it keeps him out of the AFc I'm all for it.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Seattle considering Marshall

Brandon or Richard? Both are tendered at the 1st level.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Seattle considering Marshall

Seahawks have also had keen interest in a guy we all know and have asked him to come up for a visit and a possible physical on Monday.....
Thats Ben Watson

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Seattle considering Marshall

Not a bad idea. Honestly, how many first round receivers are going be on Marshall's level? Throw in a third, what the heck. Marshall is probably the best young WR in the game.

I'm sure he is also excited to go play for Pete Carroll.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Seattle considering Marshall

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Seahawks are "strongly considering" signing Brandon Marshall to a restricted free agent offer sheet.

With Marshall and TJ, the Seahawks would have the douchiest WR tandem in the league.

Talented, though, no doubt.

Over/under 180 days Marshall goes up the back door and complains to Paul Allen about Pete Carroll.

Any takers?

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Seattle considering Marshall

Someone mentioned this on NFL network last night on their free agency special.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Seattle considering Marshall

less than 100 is my guess especially with the rah rah of Pete Caroll.

I would never want the Patriots to make such a move. He wants big bucks and that's why he's leaving Denver.

So the question is really, would you take Marshall over a 1st rounder and a FA you can sign for $8 million (Marshall's $10 mill contract - midrange first rounder's contract)?

Re: Seattle considering B. Marshall

Maybe I am just panicking, but we have three 2nd round picks if we let our 1st go. Should we try for Marshall?

We'll who do you want then? Rookies won't cut it. We need one FA receiver or pass rusher...
