Time to make my predictions for the season. Patriots will finish 11-5 and take the AFC East again. Miami will make the playoffs, but Culpepper won't be enough for them to overtake the Patriots. As for the other teams in the division, I think the Jets will start off slow but Mangini will turn them around by season's end but it will be too little, too late. The Bills will be fighting for that first pick in next years draft.

I see the AFC as a three team race between the Pats, Colts, and Steelers.

The NFC will be between the Giants and the Panthers.

I think the one team that will surprise people and do better than expected is the Saints. The addition of Brees and Bush will make them a lot better. If the O-line improves this team will have a great offense.

The team I see taking a step back is the Bengals. A first place schedule and off field distractions and I think this team goes back to .500.

And of course, the Patriots will win it all again.

Before you take my predictions too seriously, just remember, I am the guy that came in last place in the prediction game last year.

Looking forward to defending my title.

No, they'll actually be going 16-0.

Next time you need help, just ask. ;)

Don't you mean 23-0 (counting the preseason, of course ;) )?

But that's the fun of it. Nobody has a clue what will happen during the season. It's just fun to see how close you can get and see how wrong everybody is going to be.
