Does anyone remember an article that was written near the beginning of last season regarding training principles of the Pats' staff? Specifically, it centered on a shift in methodology from heavy lifting, for instance, to lighter weights, more stretching and functional strength exercises. The article mentioned that the end goal was obviously longevity and injury prevention.
I was just reading through the Welker thread and I got thinking about the injury history of Amendola and Gronk (Edelman even) and how the staff was working to counteract that.
