Oh my, only two days later and the leaders are selling out. Hannity has Evolved

Sean Hannity, John Boehner say GOP should tackle immigration reform | The Ticket - Yahoo! News

    Well, that was fast.

Just two days after President Barack Obama sailed to reelection over Mitt Romney, boosted by more than 70 percent of the Latino vote, some Republicans are striking a new tone on illegal immigration.

Conservative Fox News and radio host Sean Hannity said Thursday that his views on immigration have "evolved." Hannity continued:

They won't, the right wing thought police will dominate this conversation and change the topic..

The attitudes on this board verify that.. they blame everything else except the obvious.

There nothing Hannity said that I disagree with. Its not a question of immigration Its how are you going to achieve it.
Obama promised it in his first term.
Reagan and Bush did more to address immigration than Obama ever has.

The only reason Obama got the hispanic vote is through bribes of free stuff.EOS

Invade Mexico, take over their government, set up American style welfare programs, send Madonna, Lindsy Lohen, Chris Matthews, Matt Lauer, Michael Moore and Lady Ga Ga down there as special "social government advisors".

That will stop illegal immigration in a week, invade them and then turn them into another American State then all the ones that sneaked into America will Sneak back into Mexico.

What a terrible awful shlt dump Mexico must be.

No one should be surprised by a political party pandering to a segment of the population, in order to gain favor despite the fact that said pandering goes against the best interests of the country, or the rule of law. Welcome to modern day politics. Only a Greece like collapse will correct all that's wrong.

Speaking of which...I guess the IMF would like to see the US become Greece.

IMF urges permanent fix to U.S. 'fiscal cliff' - Yahoo! Finance

As if Americans should form policy upon how we will affect the world. The IMF wants the US to continue spending, not raise taxes and pump more stimulus into our economy!

They've been telling the Euro Union to get their budgetary houses in order for 3 years...and tell the US to keep doing what we're doing....go figure.

    Screw the IMF

Some here have a very short memory ...

some republicans wanted this in 2007.
I was very surprised Obama did not reignite the debate after he took office also.
I thought in 2007 that it was a very good compromise of a bill.
