The UN has got to get off its hands and start putting together a forum that actually does what the UN charter says: prevent wars and take proactive steps to stifle attempts to escalate tensions.

Is that too much to ask??

even muted, you seep in

the original post here is such a steaming pile of crap, it should be bronzed...

the more you trumpet the faux 'no more wars' mantra, the more you marginalize yourself as a complete non-sequitur here... you're not fooling anyone, grouchaholic... we're all well aware you love this current war (i mean occupation), and you love U.S. military might... at least, when the "Grand Old Party" is running the show...

furthermore, crackers who leech on Biden's "clean" comment concerning Obama are poltical hack opportunists of the most vivid and vile example... we all know quite what he meant, praising Obama, not degrading him in the least...

Joe Biden knows this crusade is bullsh--, and knows the only viable solution at this point -- after the Bush League has destroyed that nation -- is seperating the sects geographically...

real mass genocide is happening in central africa... pick up a book, genius, ... or, heck, if you don't read (like Bush) watch a movie like Blood Diamond, and earn a clue...

see, mass genocide wasn't really happening in Iraq, .. you know, the country you're in bed with Curious George over?...

mass genocide is happening in Africa, and has for over 10 years... stuff that makes the worst Saddam ever did to his people pale in comparison... get it yet?.... in Africa, we're talking people being butchered by the tens, if not hundreds of thousands every month...

or is it just that you can't bring yourself to support the rescue of really dark innocent people on general principle?

YOU say that. But how can such lunacy (the Biden war plan) even get uttered ??

Where's the push to get the UN to do its job of peace-making??

BULLSH-T!
Because someone supports Bush is no reason to assume they don't care about people of are racist. That's about as weak as it gets.

Regarding the Sudan, where the hell have the Africans been during this genocide - and there is a genocide going on, no doubt- but where are the Egyptians, Libyans, Nigerians, South Africans, the Saudis? Why do they get a pass for doing NOTHING while people are slaughtered. Why do we, a country from across the world with virtually nothing in common culturally, have to be the ones to rescue them and get ourselves killed? The Chinese have just as much reason to go there as we do, maybe more seeing as they have the huge commitment to oil production there.

US out of Iraq!
US troops out of foreign bases and conflicts!

Jumpseat Joe is running for President Foggster....
In his current position of irrelavence in the polls he feels the need to cater to the far left 'DO GOODNICKS' to increase his visibility. A flawed policy by a flawed candidate.

The current administration holds the UN in contempt and has historically pursued a unilateral foreign policy approach. Neither the Congress nor the American people will sanction armed intervention in Darfur or anywhere in Africa. Remember Somalia everyone...we went in there to help too.
How'd that work out for us?

I'd actually prefer we go to places like Darfur and Rwanda, than undertake a mission like Iraq. The problem is we went into Iraq, and now we've got to do the best we can to make it work.

When it comes to Darfur, my only question is, where's the UN?

No incentive for a "Humanitarian" initiative.

It's sad. You'd think that this is exactly what the UN is made for. The problem is, the UN doesn't do anything without US money or troops.
