Agreed.

I just have this irresistible irrational compassion to find excuses to blast Twitter

Thank you for the quick answer, good sir. I had never expected Crennel to come back this season, so I didn't really bother following that too closely.

Will the Jets interview Pioli? I'll bet its in the cards.

Pioli has a family and a career to think about but me wonders if the selfish side of BB would be PO'ed if Pioli is having dinner with Woody J.

Explain, if you would.

If members of the media wanted to use the rest room, they could only go to and from with an escort.

Former KC players were allowed access to the Chiefs facility to use the weights and stuff. After Pioli arrived they were encouraged to go elsewhere.

Some of the offices of front office employees faced the practice field. If the team was using the field, all window blinds had to closed.

More stuff is coming out every day.

No its not, Youre just uninformed.

Captain Cliche is correct. Pioli turned Arrowhead into the Kremlin.

Feel free to inform me.
You said Peyton Manning and Jeff Fisher rejected KC BECAUSE OF Scott Pioli.
I say you made that up.
Please INFORM ME by showing me all of the links, stories, comments, etc that I am unaware of that shows that you are correct.

Kolb & Vick?
If so, Reid is smarter than I thought.
Not that that is much of a compliment.
Well he traded Kolb and benched Vick after Vick was the primary reason for causing him to lose his job. I can't imagine he wants either back.

Pioli's stay in KC is reminiscent of Ron Brace's stay here very dissapointing to say the least.:D Pioli please stay the heck away from our N.E. Patriots your service and bad karma is not needed.:nono:

Prove to me Weis was going to let go.

Your word isnt good enough.

Second, I have only said that you are wrong when you say BB answer NO when asked if Crennell would be a good HC.

I don't have a link, but, I recall reading an article that had the media asking BB if Crennel was head coaching material, and BB said "it's about time. He deserved that chance a long time ago." Paraphrasing.

I'm not necessarily siding with Triumph on this one, but I did remember reading this piece some time ago that made pretty much the same statement...

Arrowhead anxiety: Turnover off the field causes concern - KansasCity.com

I remember reading this when it came out, and I just re-read it again to make sure I feel the same way. IMHO, most of this article is hyperbole and/or former employees who seemed to have very little accountability before Pioli arrived and balked at the fiscal/team related responsibility he wanted to install. I remember there always being an issue between the KC media and Pioli from the minute he was hired

I'm not saying Pioli was without fault. Right off the bat I knew hiring Haley was a mistake. Cassell's rotating band of OC's and OL was destined to fail, and the Weis/RAC combo would have worked last season. Pioli ended up firing Haley anyway, he should have just done it before the 2011 season and promoted RAC or Weis to HC while keeping the other one.

Oh well, maybe he learned from it and will get another shot in a couple of years. Hopefully where ever he lands he doesn't have the media gunning for him from the Starting Line.

People like to ignore the fact that K.C. was a country club sort of atmosphere under Edwards, so any crackdown was bound to meet with all sorts of howls. The Chiefs fan base has degenerated into one that's as bad as any in the league, and it's going to be funny as hell listening to the howls as Charles is still ignored, timeouts are blown or taken at ridiculous times, etc....

Yes, exactly. That article stated 14 different VP's that were let go when Pioli got there...sounds like people were taking advantage of the Hunt's fortunes. I can't blame them for being bitter; if I started in KC in the mail room and then was there long enough to have a buddy hire me into some BS VP of the Dining Facility role I'd be mad that I had to actually go find a real job all of the sudden also.

Hope Chiefs fans like seeing bad defense, because that's all Andy Reid has shown he can produce since Jim Johnson passed on. I give it 3 years before Reid is fired.

Ok, I just saw the length of the deal for Reid. He got 5 years.

Hunt's an idiot.

I'm sure based on their history that BB would be willing to throw either RAC or Scott a lifeline if they ask. Not sure either will. Nothing readily available that remotely offers cover for either. Posiiton coach for RAC who at 65 is more likely thinking of retiring or trying to find another DC gig or even take a HC gig in the college ranks. Pioli is a tougher one because once you've bombed as badly as he did in KC when given total control, what the heck do you come back to. He never even had that here. Caserio essentially has the job he used to have here minus the VP (Director of Player Personnel) title which he is likely in line for unless they want to lose him. I'm sure the Krafts would be willing to give him some job with a VP title attached but it wouldn't have any power over football ops attached to it since that all rests will Bill here.

As for the other openings for GM's, I wouldn't hold my breath. Scott managed to go from THE hottest name in the game to toxic following his first 4 year gig. Both in perception and reality. I guess you could say KC was his Cleveland. But Tuna had an open slot at asst. HC and position coach to offer even while leaving Groh technically as his DC. I don't see a fit for Pioli in the FO here unless Floyd decides to depart and they fancy up the cap and contracts position - although that one doesn't offer the kind of hand on personnel input Pioli would want to help rehab his perception. Would be different if Caserio was being targeted this off season but haven't heard any whispers to that effect yet.

It must suck to be a Chefs fan. Ouch!

They're thrilled. They've apparently been ignoring what's been happening in Philadelphia and missed the whole "4-12" thing this season.

I don't think Reid is that bad. He never had a Brady or a Manning or a Brees. Had he not ran into the patriots' dynasty he probably wins a super bowl. Probably the best veteran coach available. Eagles had multiple deep postseason seasons; I think a change of scene will be good for him. He's also good at developing young quarterbacks. Not a whole lot of risk here either versus hiring a coordinator or an unproven college coach(not to say there aren't good options out there). Some people are acting like the dude is Norv Turner or something.

The Eagles weren't winning the Super Bowl in 2004, and that's the only time Reid got there. If the Eagles hadn't lost to the 14-2 Patriots, they'd have faced the 15-1 Steelers.

As for developing QBs, which young QBs were developed Reid developed during his Eagles tenure and went on to show that development was legit?

If I was Reid I'd think about keeping RAC as his DC but I'd doubt that'll happen. Reid had good years when his defense played well and crappy years when his D stunk.
