i was looking at the tough Patriots schedule when I noticed something.
The Pats play virtually ALL toughest opponents at the Razor They travel only to Indy for the annual Colts bash. All the other toughies save the Texans, in week 17 are at Home.
Obviously that doesn't include the away games in the AFCE. But even there the Patriots luck out. The Miami game at Miami isn't until well into the Fall, after the Temperatures moderate.
Further more the Patriots have not a single tough match on a short week. They have a full normal week to prepare an play all their tough match ups. They even have a week off to recover from their trip to London.
Home field is supposedly worth 3 points according to Vegas bookmakers and each little bit helps.
