Citizen Palin 4 President: Sarah Palin Defeats Obama By Electoral College Votes Of 282 To 256

Even Sarah’s most ardent supporters sometimes tell us “there’s no way the media is going to let her win”. Unfortunately some conservatives voters have the mindset this is true. Polls specifically written to Sarah’s detriment are repeated constantly to create the impression she is terminally ‘divisive’ ‘not qualified’ or ‘weak with independents’. All those make for good headlines from liberal media sources but are virtually meaningless in the real word of politics. […]

The Electoral Votes allotted to each state will change significantly in 2012 due to the census and will favor Palin. This is subject to review, per the census totals, but projections of gain and losses are as follows:

    • +3: Texas
    • +2: Florida
    • +1: Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Utah
    • -1: Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Pennsylvania
    • -2: New York, Ohio […]

Let’s look at the most likely path to victory and the one that was evident in the week following her selection as VP candidate prior to the economic collapse in 2008. The map will you show you the colors and the outcome of Palin winning back: Florida, Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, Indiana, Colorado & Nevada for an electoral victory of 282-256.

Governor Palin could lose either Colorado or Nevada and still win. Ohio would remain the key but the ‘Obama Economy’ has driven that states unemployment rate through the roof. It will be a battle but Palin can win there in a traditionally GOP state.

Ignoring the fact that these things are silly to talk about 2.5 years in advance, it looks like a highly flawed study. All they did was take historically Republican states and assume those states would vote Republican (no matter who that Republican was), they took historically Democrat states and assumed they would vote for Obama, then they took a bunch of key swing states and assumed they would go with Palin because times are tough. The real world just ain't that easy.

It really is a conspiracy that this eminently qualified woman is not the President of the United States.

Yeah, but it's great stuff to get NBC all fired up and start Chris Matthews drooling and spitting all over himself, MSNBC is the worst, when they start on Palin they go for weeks on end it's like an addiction with them.

"Eminently" more qualified than the guy who won in 2008. Which is not to say that Palin was qualified at all. Nor was it a compliment to her either. It simply points to how underqualified, and inexperienced, the last batch of candidates were. But I digress...

Sarah Palin was not more qualified than Obama, but it also raises the question of what qualifications are really relevant to the position of POTUS?

Now I would argue that Palin is unqualified to be president not because of her resume, or lack thereof, but because she has demonstrated time and time again that she has very little, if any, grasp on policy particulars, the nuances of government, etc.

Qualifications and experience are tough to quantify. We have had terrible presidents who had lengthy resumes and terrific presidents who had almost no experience.

Dude, don't pull punches. She would have been more lost than Lucy was at the candy factory. She was the Quayle scenario X 1000, we might very well have had less states in the union by the end of her term.

Silly study, silly results and this would be a silly idea.. even though I would salivate any time she would be removed from an unscripted, uncontrolled environment..
