I actually like Scarborough. The looks on Barnicle's face is classic.

    (warning - "naughty" word blurted)

Poor Joe just turn beet red as he sees his TV career pass before his eyes.

I hope the guy is given a pass - - but the FCC won't appreciate this "wardrobe malfunction".

He will get a fine from FCC, he will have to do another couple of mea coups. But this won't end his career.

And if it does there is something seriously ****ed up about this world.

    I agree completely.

And a word is a word is a word - - people get too hung up on "naughty" words. It looked like it was a simple mistake - - but wow! I don't think this will help him with the suits at GE if he does it again (altho' it may get him a bigger deal with Sirius).

Why would he lose his job over a fraudian slip like that? He didn't do it maliciously, or intentionally. He did it subconsciously. He didn't even realize he said it till after the fact.

Once again, I completely agree. However, the guy is a professional and professionals don't do that very often at all.

Can you remember one time when in the middle of a live national interview any national TV host tripping up with an f-bomb when he isn't mistakenly thinking he is off-air?

I remember Charlie Rocket dropping one on SNL in the early 1980's - - that was it for him from the good folks at 30 Rock......., and he was a latenight comedian.

This isn't Janet Jackson, etc. This guy is a Political Host/Commentator and represents the network.

It's a huge professional screw-up- like an airplane pilot forgetting to put fuel in the plane before takeoff. I like the guy and admire his straight-honest approach. I hope GE doesn't go mideival on him.

The word "F-ck" is a Hollywood Democrat word, they should give him a raise, Joe Pesci got an Oscar for saying it 834 times in the movie "Goodfellas" it is part of Al Frankens & Sean Penns daily vocabulary.

John Kerry's daughter said on live TV the night Kerry conceded "I can't believe that F-cking idiot beat my father"

Mother Teresa was riding through Times Square in a Cab and she saw a dollar bill on the street, she yelled at the Cab Driver "STOP THE F-CKING CAR"

Never, in the history of the free world, has that word been used more accurately and appropriately than in the scenario you describe.

    Referring to Obama's people:

"...These are good decent men who don't go around flipping people off or shouting '---- you' at the top of their lungs..."

Scarborough was simply paraphrasing what Rahm Emanual said about Republicans, "F--k them". Of course Scars is not supposed to use that word -- and I believe it should be prohibited from public airwaves -- and he should not have, but he was simply repeating what Emanual has been quoted as saying.

Perhaps it was on purpose for that very reason???????

Scarborough IS a Maverick, and Mavericks do "Mavericky" things!

    Nothing sells like controversy.

Actually Emanuel never even used the word Joe used. The CoS said "eff them". As in just the letter. Joe was the one who actually use the whole word.
