I'll watch her to see if she can win me over. I'm not a Palin hater but I've never been particularly impressed. My man is Romney, I hope he wins the 2012 nomination (as my actual favorite, Newt, is unelectable).

I have always liked Romney, but the thing that makes me a Palin Fan isn't for The White House it's the way she drives the Country's Left Wing Insane, they all go nuts just at the mention of her name, MSNBC has devoted 6 straight months "Trashing Her" now she will be in a position to kick their a$s, Drooling Matthews will be all over this tonight he might even have a stroke on national TV.

It wouldn't shock anyone if her ratings were high, horney old viagrans will tune in as they always do for the T & A / corporate porn that FOX provides to its nursing home viewers.

The FOX news generation is on its way out....enjoy the ride GEEZERS.

I think she'll be great. I will probably watch a few minutes of her show next time I'm at a tv with cable, and I hardly ever watch Fox. It's also probably a good launching post for her if she ever decides to run for President, and she'll get a good opportunity to prove wrong those who doubt her intelligence.

I think MSNBC already filled the idiot quota for talk tv.

A very serious question, how does that work for a potential candidate... thought they had to give equal time to the opposition???

    Unless that law has changed...

Presumably Palin would have to resign from Fox News prior to running for office

I don't hate her ... but that voice drives me nuts.

She needs a small snip of the vocal cords to get that hope and change tone down.

Surprise, surprise Patters. I completely disagree with you. I think if nothing else any extended exposure on TV will do what TV does to everyone. It makes you a caricature if nothing else. Also, the more she puts out there content wise the greater scrutiny or catalog to scrutinize she will be creating. I don't care too much for SP as a politician, to me shes a liability. Yet I think as a polarizing force she is aptly suited.

Too bad, I was really looking forward to her debating Obama in 2012.

If Murdoch and Fox think that she's going to stick to the deal, more power to 'em. It's their money.

She'll probably get great ratings initially - those who want to see her do well and those who expect a train wreck of epic proportions. She'll probably end up disappointing both. But they'll limit her exposure by not giving her a daily time slot at least at the outset.

From her perspective, she gets to keep her name out there and deal with whatever issues she wants. And it's probably a good paycheck without the aggravation of a political career and it lets her take shots at her critics from a relatively safe perch.

She will continue to spout her radical views without challenge or debate, which may in the long run be good or bad....
