MEH ... Matt Katula has jake on his xmas card list now.

Good for him, hopefully he doesn't screw it up this time. It will most likely be his last chance.

How can you screw up doing one thing?

Every week the players see the plan for the upcoming game.

Jake's was always written on a post card ... "Snap it hard and tight"

that's it ... a backwards pass between the legs to an always open holder or punter.

Jake got the YIPS? anyone that golfs knows the YIPS can lead to massive consumption of alcohol.

Maybe the whole thing was a Prank-the-new-guy? It's a good thing it wasn't chris hansen back there. There would of been like 5 blocked punts and an extra point and field goal right over the head.

Lots of players go through slumps, from nobodies to super-stars. It happens. I know we all expect perfection out of athletes, but they're human beings too, and sometimes they struggle. Ingram's struggles are much more obvious than when other players screw up, and with so few plays per game, each mistake becomes magnified.

It's too bad Ingram didn't work out. He had a solid rookie season for us. There's no reason to rip the poor kid though. He didn't lose his focus or take things for granted or get distracted by his personal life or anything like that. He just didn't have it this year. We've moved on, and now he's getting a second chance, and with a good team too. There's no need to be angry or bitter about it.
