Re: Sacrilege: These Two Vets Should G0

Um, has it ever occurred to you that Izzo losing a step or two might be a big reason that special teams coverage has sucked?
Actually he wasn't on the field during either TD...so unless he has some uncanny power on the bench..... And secondly, it sometimes is not about speed and quickness but about experience with all of the possibilities that can happen in situations....THAT is what is needed with 1 or 2 players.

Everyone wishes to cut Izzo and replace with who?? Aikens I think WILL be the one who will take the torch from Izzo..it COULD be this year..but it may not. Alexander in a bit of time could be that player...but not now. It's not always about speed and quickness..but of seeing things in situations and reacting correctly. Sorry..the rooks may have speed, but no experience...the team always needs 1 oe 2 eith 5 plus years of ST play.
Bruschi is not a liability yet..he's a tough 2 down linebacker, gee..wasn't it Bruschi who deflected McNabb's pass in the 1st quarter?? He's on the downside, but not a liability yet..and what is a liability is rookie linebackers..one at a time...adding experience.
