    WTF......Who?......Rodney Harrison and Larry Izzo

I'd rather have Lynch and this makes Rodney expendable.Izzo is a LB in name only. Both cost about 1mil per yr.

    I want more speed:
    Spann and Slater at FS
    Whilhite at CB and returns
    Guyton at LB
    Ventrone as my Binky
    With 5 RB's,you only need 2 TE's

Alexander and Hobson should both go,but if you need to keep one,Alexander is out because Hobson can play outside.

This is what I want...and I'm going to hold my breath until I turn blue.....so there

Re: Sacrilege:These Two Vets Should G0

I'm with ya on Alexander and Izzo. I'd like to see Lynch and Harrison together for a year and I want to give the Hobsonator a year for the stick or flick test.

But ya... Bill? Please? Make the hard cuts.

psst... I'd be willing to trade Bru out for Seau too, personally. Don't tell anyone.

Since you're smoking crack you might not want to hold your breath until you turn blue.

Harrison? Why? Lynch is better? He's not. Ridiculous.

Re: Sacrilege:These Two Vets Should G0

He's better at what we are going to use him as:

A hybrid linebacker with James Sanders as the Strong safety.

Re: Sacrilege:These Two Vets Should G0

not dumb at all.....this is just my opinion.Lynch is bigger and a better tackler. Also,he can play more like a linebacker. Not to take anything away from Rodney....I luv the guy, but,Lynch is more the LB/hybrid,like Tank, that BB is looking for.

Re: Sacrilege:These Two Vets Should G0

    Nope. Very dumb.

You DO realize that this "hybrid" stuff is merely for a Nickel package that BB wants to run? When it's 1st and 10, 2nd and medium, 3rd and short they will be in regular personnel and run their normal stuff.

But you would like to cut the heart and soul of the defense because you claim another guy is better at a specialty package? And to claim that Lynch is "more like a linebacker" than Harrison is absurd.

    Dumb.

Re: Sacrilege:These Two Vets Should G0

I agree...Lynch might be solid in the package...BUT what about the rest of the time?? That is why they will keep both and why it's noy a great idea...As for Izzo... I think it's clear he's needed on ST...it's not all about speed...bit experience and cutting him would not be smart

Lately, I have been wondering about whether they should keep Izzo, but after what I saw the other night.......hmmmm, I think we'd better keep him for st's. :D

    If Rodney goes, I go.

OK, not really. But I would be devastated AND think it's an awful idea.

No way Redney gets cut, nor should he.

Izzo being cut, in order to keep Guyton or Redd would not make me lose sleep.

Re: Sacrilege:These Two Vets Should G0

    Putting aside the Rodney stuff...

A lot of projections here keep both Izzo and Aiken. No question one of them is a lock, but both would be a mild surprise since they've been playing the same ST role. It could be hard to find space for both on the 45.

Re: Sacrilege:These Two Vets Should G0

Rodney is a core Patriot in every sense of the word. He'll be with us as long as he can play. And he can still play. The magic will be on having both of these guys--Lynch AND Harrison.

Re: Sacrilege:These Two Vets Should G0

    dude...

I hate to throw another fact against another ridiculous thread by are you aware Lynch is 1 inch taller than Harrison.> They are both the same weight.. ANd lynch's probowl's the past 4 years have all been on reputation..

    He's play will

And did you see lynch get burned in the open field on special teams..

    dude..
