KIRKLAND -- The Seahawks added a second safety in less than 24 hours Friday when they reached a contract agreement with free-agent Brian Russell.
The acquisition of Russell, who started the past two seasons for the Cleveland Browns, follows the signing late Thursday night of Deon Grant to a six-year contract that is worth at least $30 million.
Details of Russell's contract were not immediately available.
