Didn't the Rex claim that his family is the only one who defeated PATS last year?
Hope we beat the other crazy Ryan too and defeat the family.

    1. Do they work with each other on game planning against PATS?

    2. Now that we beat the JETS in a very physical games by running the ball so physically, the Ryan it seems fuming. He considers that PATS are finesse team and he is unable to face that we physically beat them.

Will he try to spend too much time with rob Ryan that might jeopardize his own game?

    3. Does rob Ryan know too much about our inside game planning that will hurt us next week?

um yes since the other Ryan was on BBs coaching staff here in NE for the 2001 SB win....so yes he is familiar.

He cant coach the dumbness out of Tony Romo though.

You can bet that Rex will feed Rob whatever intel he can about the Pats.
I don't think Rob's time here gives he any advantage, he's been gone too long.

There wasn't much finesse in the Patriots running game today.

If Romo plays I think we'll win. I'm a little worried about Ryan though. He did beat us pretty bad last year in Cleveland.

The Browns beat us last year more because of our defense than their defense.
I don't think Rob Ryan has ever coached against us and won before that game, and as a DC his resume is very weak. He is closer to going back to a position coach that being in demand as a coordinator.

They have Tony Romo at QB. Expect a bunch of INTs in the 3rd and 4th qtr!

See my last post. It was our D not their D that was the difference in that game and Rob Ryan has never had success against us.

I never knew that, I only starting supporting the Pats in 05. Wonder if we could get him back for next year as DC! ;)

You can see a lot of BB and Magina principles in his defenses compared to Rex.

Cowboys had a bye this week. If Dez Bryant and Austin Collie are healthy, that scares me a helluva lot more than their defense. They are kind of thin at cb. Nothing behind Newman and Jenkins. Terrible at safety. He simply doesn't have the personnel the Jets do in the secondary. I think it's going to be a shootout. Romo has blown a couple of games. But, he also had a great comeback against SF. And, they look like a pretty good team now.

The Cleveland loss was all about getting steamrolled in the running game. Peyton Hillis and the offensive line manhandled the Patriots front seven - Hillis had 29 carries for 184 yards! The Browns ran the ball 44 times in that game. It was a beatdown. If the Patriots could have gotten a 2-score lead early it would have been different, but they just hammered the Patriots defensive front.

The Patriots addressed that problem and it was great to see the rotation of defensive linemen during the Jets game. Haynesworth and Kyle Love sharing the load alongside Vince Wilfork is great and is physically overwhelming as the game wears on. The Pats will go with stopping the run and forcing Tony Romo to keep up with TFB, BJGE and the Pats offense.

Sharing intel is not uncommon in the league. Particularly when given to a team in an opposite conference about a division rival.

It is in the Jets best interst for the Cowboys to beat the Pats. The Cowboys won't play the Jets for another 4 years so any insight provided into the Jets thought process would not aid the Cowboys in the least.

BB might be reluctant to provide insight to the Redskins this week because doing so might compromise NEP thinking this year. But I would not be surpised in the least if NEP gives intel to the Cowboys when they the Bills.

Granted it works better if the coaching staff has a pre existing relationship -- e.g. if KC was one of our division rivals Polio and Belichick have a relationship more open to sharing then say...BB and Mangini. Of course you can't get any closer than brothers.

Of course BB won't hold a press conference to boast about any intel provided unlike RR.

In all honesty, I like Rob Ryan. I may have forgetten, but I don't believe he's ever taken shots at BB the way Rex has..

Rob Ryan has done very well. And I wouldn't mind seeing him as the DC here in New England if Pepper doesn't get the title officially.

What does Austin Collie (player for the Colts) have to do with the Pats playing the Cowboys? Do you mean Miles Austin?? He should be healthy.

The key to stopping the Cowboys is shutting down their run and taking away Jason Witten. That forces Romo to beat you and Romo has very little confidence right now. Plus he's playing with cracked ribs..

I think Rob Ryan and BB have a mutually respectful relationship. Rob did a great job when he was here and left on good terms.

Where has he done well? I don't see a whole lot of success on his DC resume.

Yeah, I meant Miles Austin. Thanks for pointing out. The Cowboys don't even try to establish the run any more. I suspect they will come out slinging it. Romo has too much confidence in his ability. That's his problem. Thinks he can do anything. Instead of making the smart play. He'll play better against us than what I'm reading from many posters. Week off helps those ribs too.

This game is no gimme. I've always been a Cowboy hater. I think this team is soft and not too smart. But, you have to admit they have some premier talent. And, they can put points on the board. Then they blow the game late. When you're playing a team like them. You figure the mistakes are coming. But, you can't count on it. We're going to have to score a lot of points to win. And, I think we will.

You might want to actually familiarize yourself with Ryan's background then.

The Browns were 13th last year in Points allowed at 20.8. That was after they had allowed 23.4 in 2009. That's not improvement? And it's well known that the Cowboys defense is a strength of theirs this year. None of the defense has been the one to throw those game killing interceptions.

How about the job he did in Oakland DESPITE Al Davis? How many coordinators do you know that could survive through 4 head-coaching changes? One of the biggest problems for the Oakland defense during his stint was the offense was so god-awful that the Defensive players were just beaten down by the end of each game..

not sure why I bothered answering you since I know you are going to ignore e everything and just go on your usual rant.
