Who's he going to use in place of Kraft, drug addict Irsay? - Dopey son of privilege Woody Johnson? Let's face it, Goodell's biggest supporters are "thanks dad" incompetents living off inheritances who couldn't compete in the real or football world. Kraft as interim commissioner has a lot of appeal when your current commissioner is flushing the golden goose down the toilet.

It's an interesting point. Of the 32 owners, what's the % of self-made billionares and how may are trust fund babies.

1. Rescind the Patriots "Spygate" punishment and return the team's first round pick.
2. Rescind the Patriots "Deflategate" punishment returning the team's draft picks.
3. Fine the Jets 100 million dollars and strip them of first and second round picks for the next 10 years.
4. Annul the results of Super Bowls 42 and 46.

Forgive my ignorance.. but has the Commissioner ever been an "ex" owner -let alone an ex-owner whose son still owns the team?

I've no doubt that a betrayed Kraft is now working to remove a backstabbing Goodell, but I can't see him working to become Commissioner.

Numerous in the early NFL. Bert Bell more recently. Rozelle was a GM. Al Davis was commissioner of the AFL for a short time, because thye owners didn't think the comish at the time could handle possible merger. Davis had been a coach, but became a part owner after stepping down.

So, August 5 he just realized he had new obligations?

I don't know, I thought PatfanCraigs post where he saw Robert Kraft at a gym in Brighton and he was like totally ripped and had been working out with David Boston and taking PEDs and HGH by the bucket and was going to be a stud Mike LB for them this season was pretty out there. But just imagine Collins, Kraft and Hightower, that would be sick!
