Rough time to be a Pats fan in Southern Ontario

It would make sense. The people in Buffalo and Toronto are similar... both low-class trash.

Okay, that was uncalled for.
Toronto fans are mixed when it comes to NFL allegiances. There are a lot of Steeler and Cowboy fans here though.
Before the dawn of cable and NFL ticket we mainly are force fed New York or Dallas games on TV. (probably why I hate the Jets, Giant's & Cowboys)

In my circle of friends I know a Steeler fan, a Browns fan, a Titan's fan, a Saints fan and I am the lone Patriots fan.

You get some Bills fans here (mostly season ticket holders that go to Buffalo), but most of us just laugh at the Bills (loveable losers that they are).

I see a few Patriots jackets and hats around though, and I proudly wear my Tom Brady jersey.

As far as big cities go, Toronto is an awesome place to live. Great people, great nightlife, plenty of recreation, excellent waterfront, clean streets, great business district, lots of money floating around, little crime. Toronto is one of the best cities in the world to live though I'm not sure the Bills would go over well here. The fans here are lukewarm to any sport that isn't played in a hockey arena.

Maybe we need an AFL team!

I don't mind Toronto and agree, it's a top calibre city in North America, but I'd take Boston over it for a bunch of reasons. Still, TO has a lot more to do if you're a socialist. I mean... socialite. My bad. ;)

cut him some slack, he's from New Hampshire :D

It is pretty funny that he thought you were serious about the lyrics.lol.

C'mon now, why you gotta play me like that? It's plausible. I saw Neil Young in 1989 when that song came out. I'll bet that was before Jsn was even born.

Oh yeah, and lay off NH. The only word that should follow our motto is muthafvckah.

Don't I wish!

haha, you're off your rocker! There's loads of crime and parts of downtown are absolutely atrocious looking. Excellent waterfront? Lake Ontario is a freakin' septic tank! If you get outside the immediate downtown districts, then I agree, there's some real nice areas. But downtown Toronto is just disgusting.

So wait, you, an American, are telling this a guy who FREAKING LIVES THERE?

Sheesh. Some of our southern neighbours are stunning... :p

My circle of closest friends consists of:

1 - Steelers
1 - Dolphins
1 - Colts
1 - Bills
1 - Giants
1 - 49ers
2 - Panthers (!?!?!)
2 - Cowboys

I also know a few Packers & Giants fans, but the most popular I'd say are Dolphins, Steelers, and Cowboys. As someone else mentioned, there isn't much love for the Bills amongst NFL fans up here. Those that do love them, though, usually have season tickets.

And to the guy that trashed T.O...the downtown core of any major metropolis is dirty and has pockets of crime. Relatively speaking, considering the size of the city...Toronto is clean & safe. Most people would say Chicago has a great waterfront, that doesn't mean I can't find you some dirty and ugly areas of their downtown.

Isn't it great when some dirty kid comes up to your car and tries to clean your windshield with some **** rag, and than begs for money?

You mean a homeless kid trying to make a buck in an overcrowded, underemployed city? Yeah, that is pretty great.

Sounds like you just don't like large, metropolitan cities!

For a large metropolitan city of 2.5 million people Toronto is indeed very safe and very clean. If it wasn't so I'd not have lived here for all 48 years of my life.

I have a residence in the beaches area of the city and it's a spectacular location. Lake Ontario is a fantastic arena for water activity. I sail her for hundreds of hours each season with nary a worry about anything but running out of time.

haha, can't believe you just said that! Why don't you just move to freakin' Moscow...
