This really is a curious thread, isn't it? The timing is out of the blue. No recent news of Brace, we know he can't even practice for another month, and there's no desperate need for another DT. The Butler reference is oddly stale, and the comment that Brace can't fit in a 4-3 doesn't make much sense given that he was an effective 4-3 DT in college and always seemed a little out of position as a 3-4 DE.

Maybe the OP was just bubbling over with bitterness at the team, fueled by the fact that they've only won 2 games this season?

Of course it's unfair to single out a poster, but i do imagine a number of posters sitting with their little draft pick lists from years past and cheering when one has a bad game or grimacing when Gronk or Hernandez or the dozens of young players we've added recently does well.

Hey, whatever floats your boat.:D

Let me explain this again, and once more in english...point of this thread is to discuss what will Pats do when Brace comes off PUP.....cut him or keep him. If they keep him who else will need to go. Got it amigo ?
How can we tell what they'll do when we haven't seen him in over a year? We have no idea what kind of progress, if any, he's made.

This thread is just an excuse to pile on yet another Patriots player.

Translation

You can't call out a wise azzz like myself for starting useless threads because I want to get some stupid digs in.

If we have no DL's going on IR through the end of the PUP window, Brace will probably go on IR. And we will be very, very lucky that no DL goes on IR.

If Wright goes on IR early, we may or may replace him with Warren, so it may take 2 DL's going on IR for us to activate Brace.

In any case, Brace is a 4-3 DT. If anything, the switch to the 4-3 gives Brace a much better chance to be productive this year and/or in the future. If we had a 4-3 defense when he was drafted, he would have been a much more understandable pick.
