On June 30, 2012, Mitt Romney said that business experience was so essential to being a president that he wanted to change the constitution to add at least three years of business experience as a requirement.

Romney Pitches Three Year Business Requirement To Qualify For The Presidency-Say Bye Bye To Honest Abe - Forbes

On August 9, 2012, Mitt Romney says that his very first concern in picking a vice president it to make certain that the candidate is ready and able to serve as president.

August 11. 2012 - Romney names Paul Ryan as his vice presidential pick - presumably meeting all of Romney's criteria for president-if-needed.

Paul Ryan's business experience? He drove the Oscar Mayer WeinerMobile while in college. He also moonlighted as a "private trainer," when he first began working in government.

Paul Ryan Is High Risk, High Reward For Mitt Romney - ABC News

So what happened to the pressing need to change the constitution to stipulate 3 years of business experience is required for a possible president?

Or does driving a giant hot dog qualify?

He was speaking rhetorically and not literally no one seriously believes that this sort of thing is worthy of a Constitutional Amendment.

So business experience is NOT necessary? Is that what you're saying?

As for Romney not being serious, he's got a commerical out saying the exact same thing. Sounds serious enough to me.

    Puhleeeeze..

    Do you ever stop reaching?
Paul Ryan has forgot and dealt more about business and budget matters than Obama has in entire life.
Obama on budget is like a person who thinks hamburger comes from a store. Like money is just there.Like hamburger in a store is just there.

Paul Ryan understands the whole process of where money comes from and the difficulty it is to obtain it.
Obama is one of these cradle to grave hacks that actually thinks that there is government money. He dosen't understand that "government money" comes from other peoples blood sweat and tears to earn it.Paul Ryan does. Thats a huge distinction.

Please outline for us Ryan's extensive private sector experience. None of this banal fluff crap you've outlined above.

    Thanks!

It's very sad that Americans have a choice between TWO VERY POOR candidates in a time when America needs a great leader.

I want to see Mitt Romney's documentary proof that I'm an Anglo-Saxon.
