Mitt Romney seems to be staying out of the "Made In China" US Olympic uniform controversy. When asked about it, Mitt replied, "I'm not going to get into the uniform issue. There are big issues associated with the Olympics: the security of the games, the readiness of our athletes, and that's what I'm going to focus on, hopefully when I get to cheer on the people who are going to be supporting and representing our country."

Seems odd that a guy who keeps complaining about President Obama's government spending tax payer dollar overseas wouldn't take the opportunity to at least say, "I told you so."

Opps, wait...on second thought, it's not so odd after all - the 2002 Olympics that Romney brought back from the brink of financial disaster? Those US uniforms were made in Burma.

You know, 2002 Burma - The only place worse than China.

Liberals drive those little death trap sewing machines, Al Gore has three SUV's to carry his familys Ski's on, Junkie Bob Kennedy (the grave digger) has two SUV's A Boat and a Private Jet, they want us to ride bikes and wear sweaters.

Isn't the Obama Bus made in Canada?

I drive a Jeep, not that it matters really. I bet half the parts are made in Mexico or something.

I remember when that hag POS Wasserman-whatever was spewing her usual talking points about the auto bailout, and then it was reported that she drove a Lexus.

A lot of this goes to what I've been saying for years. How many people check the tags of the cloths they buy to see where it's made, before they buy them? Not many I'd guess. People tend to buy what they like, what's priced right, or what fits. Would it be ideal to have more stuff made here at home? Of course it would. Everything is relative though. People might want more stuff made here, but do they want that "stuff" if it costs double, or doesn't come with the features they like and require? Somewhere in there is a happy medium. Where you can have open trade, but at the same time don't completely destroy your capcity to manufacture at home.

That appears to be true nowadays -- still prefer Ford (especially the last few years they've stepped up their game)

I like Ford also......I guess the next Fusion is going to one up everyone in the class

Its no coincidence that they are the only one of the big 3 who did not take a dime from the govt.

My daily driver's a Dodge Ram or the 89 GMC p/u. My baby is one of these, except mine has the old-school Cragar rims.
