    Romney criticizes Obama

I am so tired of the radical Muslims (I said radical).
I wish we could wipe them off the face of the earth.
I am sick of America apoligizing to them.

Of course Romney has no actual solutions. That's not his area of expertise.

At any rate, if this paragraph is correct --

Romney Blasts Obama on Cairo Embassy Apology - NationalJournal.com

"The U.S. embassy had put out a statement early Tuesday that apologized for an anti-Muslim video being promoted by Gainesville, Fla. pastor Terry Jones, who earlier had threatened to burn more than 200 copies of the Koran. The video reportedly mocks Islam's founding prophet Muhammed -- a view that seemed certain to rile Muslims."

-- doesn't that seem like a necessary first step in terms of cooling the passions so as to protect Americans who are the Middle East? (I have a Jewish niece who is teaching for one year in Tunisia.)

Of course, that should not be only response, but the President's first priority in my opinion is to protect Americans. His second priority is to figure out an appropriate response to try to prevent further attacks.

Those 7th century animals only respect one thing..force and strength. If any of our militarty that kills these guys should start sending them back in hogskin coffins. They'd get the message that the price of doing buisness just went up.

When are you enlisting? Or is this just more bloviating about sending someone else's kids into combat or dropping bombs that will inevitably kill innocents whose relatives will become radicalized to continue the cycle of violence.

This is not a solution but a thoughtless reaction to a situation that does not need to include us anymore. Close the embassies and stop sending money and weapons to Egypt and Israel. They'll figure it out without us.

But then again, the military is a big jobs program and we need to keep the people busy making weapons and delivering retail death.

No but we shouldn't have sent a billion and a half of aid to the muslim brotherhood either.
But the reality is its going to come to that because they are going to get more and more brazen until there is something far worse then a 9-11.

I'm sick and tired for muslim apologist by a president who forces the catholic church by punitive threat if they go against their religion and by forcing them to comply with birth control healthcare laws.

We just may have seen the gamechanger in this election yesterday and I'm praying for it.

Gee a "Christian" praying for more violence and death, what a shock. Like Ghandi said "
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

As far as birth control goes, you live in a democracy, if you don't like it move to lets say......Egypt.

Muslim apologist, you mean that guy that has killed more AQ and Taliban than the total failure of a president george bush?

I don't think the Republicans are equipped to exploit this tragedy. Romney's lack of expertise on foreign policy puts him at a disadvantage. The only way to exploit the tragedy is to convince Americans that Obama should not have let Qadaffi fall; otherwise, I think Americans understand that the ME is in transition. The fact that the Libyan government has strongly condemned the attacks is also a good thing. I don't think Qadaffi would have done that.

Its a good thing Bush teed it up for him.
By the way if Bush had conducted the war this way the ACLU would be so far up his ass he'd taste brylcreem.
Every nite you would see Christy Arman"piss"pour holding a dead kid and whining about the "collateral" damage.
That seem to be gone from the state medias vocabulary hasn't it? Collateral damage.

I've never posted in this wasteland and may never again. But I'm sick of religious right wing nutjobs antagonizing their enemies from behind the cover of those on the front lines fighting to protect their freedom. Same whack job who burned those Korans and got US troops in Afghanistan killed began promoting a viciously anti islamic film last week in conjunction with his own Judgement of Mohammed internet telecast to be featured on 911. And overnight it has cost a US Ambassador and 3 embassy staffers their lives in Libya.

Stand Up America with Dr. Terry Jones - Gainesville, FL - Public Figure | Facebook

This page includes a link to the trailer for the film which Jones began using the end of August to promote his own planned activities for 911.

Sam Bacile’s Anti-Islam Movie Sparked Deadly Protests in Egypt, Libya | Video | TheBlaze.com

Meanwhile Mitt's first response (similar to the nutjob Pallin he strives to distance himself from) was to criticize the president for the Egyptian Embassy's initial attempt to diffuse the situation they were caught up in in part by apologizing for a film made by and promoted by a bunch of nutjobs hiding behind the flag. Apparently in hopes of salvaging his poll ratings. This isn't the salvaging the Olympics or building Bain Capital. Wake up America.

Phony Bush rumpswabs routinely say stupid crap like this. Bush set this up for Obama...Bush set that up for Obama. Obama never does anything on his own except wreck the economy. Bush somehow had nothing to do with anything bad. When gas went through the roof, it wasn't Bush's fault. But when it goes up today, it's no one's fault but Obama's.

    Indeed we may have.

Hopefully it will start by people, reasonable people, finally understanding that it isn't a "game," regardless of how hard Romney and the hard right try to make it one.

People died here. Where's the sorrow from Romney over that? He's too busy jumping the gun, breaking his promise not to get "political" on 9/11 by several hours (and asking the media to "hold" his statement until 12:01AM) speaking before he's got all the information, blaming Obama for making "a statement" before Obama made a statement (The embassy in Cairo gave the statement that Romeny was referring to - not the White House) and then falling silent when it comes to pass that 4 Americans lost their lives.

This is not a "game" to be "changed," Patra. This is serious stuff and the last thing we need is a challenging political party to start foaming at the media mouth.

Times of trauma and danger are always best served by presenting a united front. Unless Romney has the good sense to realize that you don't criticize a sitting president, you don't spout war-speak and make idle threats that you have no way of carrying out and you don't muddy the diplomatic waters - especially when your own diplomatic skills are virtually nil, he's going to bluster and sputter his way right out of any remaining chance he has of looking like a serious option as president.

That being said - my heart goes out to the families of those killed in this most recent upheaval - and my prayers go out to Obama and Hillary, congress and the house, the military and the diplomatic corps around the world that they manage to handle this with the firmness and finesse that it's going to need.

Bush teed nothing up, he cut the funding used by the cia, nsa the military etc used for searching for OBL. Then said OBL wasn't relevant any longer. When OBY came into office one of the first things he did was restore that funding.

Come to think about now the Bush gang, especially Cheney and Rove probably didn't want OBL captured or killed, that way they could use him to scare American citizens in supporting 'W' for POTUS and allow haliburton and other defense contractors to make more billions
