Maybe this is well known to some of you. If it is, then my hat is off to you.

However as a Rodney fan, I didn't know this until today.

Rodney is the only DB in NFL history to record +25 sacks and +30 Int's.

I thnk his ticket to Canton has already been punched by those stats. And by being smart enough to sign with the Patriots and becoming a 2X SB champion with more on the way.:rocker:

I believe he's close to 30+ now for both categories, if he hasn't already done it.

Rodney is definitely a hall of famer, one of the best of all time.

.

Yep, I'd heard that a couple times through the past few seasons, but I'm not sure where the totals are at currently though.

Is he a HoF Patriots or a HoF Charger?

Sadly I think his reputation as a dirty player may be keep him out.

Not to take too much away from the numbers but as Sacks were not an official stat until the early 80s it is not as impressive as it sounds. For all we know there was a DB in the 70s that has 40 sacks. Be that as it may, here are the current DBs that are a “double threatâ€

Rodney Harrison – 28 sacks and 31 interceptions
Ronde Barber – 20 sacks and 30 interceptions
Brian Dawkins – 17 sacks and 29 interceptions
Adrian Wilson – 15 sacks and 13 interceptions

I agree with you. His reputation my hold him out of the HOF. Several of my friends who are not Pats fans don't know a whole lot about Rodney except to call him "dirty" by reputation.

Actually did know this and my source was Felger of all people! He's been saying it during the recent discussions on the "dirtiest player" of late. If it weren't for the dirty player tag, Harrison would be a sure bet for the HOF.

OK, he will be in the HOF and that is it and that is final.

Who's going to tell Rodney that he won't be going into the HOF?

GREAT Thread PatsNuts..I definately hope he will be voted and brought into Canton. He's a Remarkable player.Currently.Im seeing he leads the team in Tackles.WHAT a comeback!

"You may be faster, you may be bigger, you may be stronger, but you won't outwork me. And I'm not afraid. I don't care if you're 6'6" and 300 pounds, I'm going to try to make you pay."

Not me. And beyond skill, he has the heart of a Hall of Famer, too.

Believe me, I would be absolutely ecstatic if Rodney got in. He deserves.

I'll be pissed if he isnt. He is one of the best safeties in NFL history. He was a dirty player but he has definitley become better. He still hits hard but especially after last year he said he'll do all he can to prevent an injury to a player he tackles and such. Hope he gets in.
