Like everyone else here, I am not in a good mood today. Losing Brady is a crushing blow, and it just sucks, and I hope he gets better ASAP and comes back next year to lead us to the Super Bowl. That said, there were some positive developments yesterday, and I think we ought to acknowledge those, too.
I think we can all agree that Seymour hasn't been himself for the past few seasons. There was a time when one could argue that, after Brady, he was the most important player in this team's success. From what I saw yesterday, I really do think that that Seymour is back. Let's keep that in mind- yes, we lost our best player yesterday. But, in a manner of speaking, we may have also gotten our next best player back. Once we iron out some of the secondary issues (James Sanders was terrible yesterday), I think that our defense could be championship-caliber again, for the first time since 2004.
